Gold Apex has Assassination: Return of? Or another Dev fuck up?

So yeah, assassination is the wave 3 objective but only has 3 targets and all of them normal.  This just makes me laugh regardless of what has happened, because here are the scenarios:

1)  They are toying with bringing it back but left it at 3 targets because, you know, why try and make it as different from boss as possible?  We've already made hack an exact copy of upload that comes with a cluster fuck of consequences.

2)  Assassination only stays in apex missions bellow platinum because they are set and pre made which just shows that for boss they just wrote over the coding of assassination, period, so that waves were 3 and the boss was in the last wave, but the way they wrote it is retroactively messing with previously programmed "assassination" objectives in missions and the only thing that carried over was the number of targets.  It looks like the part of the code that was rewritten to not spawn hydras and destroyers and such as targets also gets applied to this.  I haven't seen one in the several games I played.

Either scenario shows a true lack of aptitude needed to run this game...
