How would you kill Ryder if he/she were to die?

Sacrifice via the Kett. I'd love for the finale to end with a sadistic choice. The Kett offer a cure for Ellen, after answering a few other questions (through quests and the like). The mother gets woken by accident (or not) forcing a choice...don't cure her, and let her go on her terms. TWO, the Kett offer a choice in which they will cure her...in exchange for one fate Ryder Twins. Sam would be forced to upload into the other twin while one goes with the Kett to be exalted. So either the PC or the twin would be taken by the Kett, effectively (but not certainly) killing them off. That way, IF they decided to continue the series, it would add a bit of weight that Andromeda DIDN'T have during the story. You'd basically set up which twin you'd continue with in the future.

Peebee becomes an ardat Yashi, Ryder dies happy.

perhaps Ryder would die to give the ultimate 'cure' for the Kett.

Thrown out the air lock

In ME2 EDI and Joker do it. After everyone else is taken Joker is sealed in the engine room while EDI opens the airlocks venting the Collectors on the Normandy into space. 

Well, we have to also give players options.

So, maybe Ryder gets an option to destroy the Kett, too.
...and...well, uh...another option could be that he becomes the new Archon.  
Of course, his physical body must die in all 3 scenarios.

With these three options, we're going to need to make sure that players know they are distinct and separate choices.  So, we'll give your ending a green color...

I can tell you how I hope Ryder does not die: Tempest gets attacked by Kett ship, everyone goes to escape pods but Ryder stays behind to get Kallo who is still at the helm
