How do you score points with Barricade? Do you have to take the rank 6 evolution or do you get points from shooting behind it or something? (Trying to decide if I want to play Salarian Architect and I don't want to put points in Barricade but I _do_ want to score points with it to close my silly little challenges rings because, well, they're there to be closed, I guess.)

I haven't been paying attention to challenges, so I'm not sure how Barricade would work. I have all six ranks with the primer evo, so I'll check the totals in the challenges before and after I use it, and can at least give you a sense of my average points per game with all 6 ranks.
Actually, I have another H-Sent at level one, so I could test how many points a level 1 Barrier gets, as well.
Unless someone who knows answers first and saves me the trouble.

any time rank 6 electric fence deals damage, you get the normal damage points

Didn't like using that spec.. in regular games when all I was doing was priming enemies and detonating them, it'd only get me like 2k per game. So instead I made a private silver magma Outlaws and would go up to that hiding spot on the inside of the building to the left and just wait for adhis to run up and kill themself on the barrier (not using detonators).

Yup, just pin an enemy with a shock barricade and watch it squirm. Repeat until you Alt+F4, then do it again later.
It'll get done eventually.

Unless they changed it from when I was doing my challenges, just deploying it will give you the points... I believe you get more points the more people that are in the match but they don't necessarily have to be behind it. Again though, don't know of changes.
You don't really need the electric evo as it won't add that many points to the progress overall, but if you wanna take it you can.
You should be able to just spam it to get it done quick.
I'd take it to rank 4 with an extra in capacity because there is a wait timer on support points with it, i.e. you can't just spam it over and over. While I'm not TOTALLY sure that the wait timer is tied to the duration of barricade, it can't hurt to make it not last as long.
