I've not gotten a single new weapon mod. I suppose I should be happy, because I easily maxed out my Bronze characters and now I'm working on silver. But they just aren't showing up in Bronze slots in Basic Packs or in Silver slots in Advanced Packs.

The new weapon mods are only available in the item store under Random Weapon Mod (rarity). Replace (rarity) with (common), (uncommon) or (rare).

You can only get them through the item store (Random X Mod) for Mission Funds.

There's also the possibility that to get them out of normal packs, you'd have to max all the other commons/uncommons/rares first

I recently bought a pile of basic packs to get my vanilla humans to XX, and the next pack I bought after maxing the last one gave me a booster instead of the expected weapon mod. The troll store only does that when there's no more proper drops available from the correct tier to give you in the guaranteed slot. |

IF you do not like scopes, the pistol targeting mod is pretty good as it adds +30% accuracy at rank I and +60% accuracy at rank X sans scope.
That seems to be the only one worth a damn.
I spent about 2,200 MF yesterday and got it to rank VIII (+53% accuracy).
It would cost 5,600 MF to max all common mods.
On a side note, I did gain 300+ APEX with my shopping spree.

On a side, side note I am secretly (not anymore!) gleeful that MF are finally worth something.
All those people (mostly on reddit) telling me I should spend MF on strike team equipment for all my teams because what else was there to spend MF on... WHO'S LAUGHING NOW ASSHOLES?
