I noticed that during work hours, it's always max bars of signal strength in MEAmp, and around the time everyone get off work, it drops one bar. But going on just now, I'm noticing everyone lobby I join is one bar. Even if I host. This only for my area or anybody else?
Not sure if it's a PSN thing (pretty sure it can still affect P2P games) or local internet (but speedtest on PC shows the same speeds it always shows).

No, haven't seen this on PS4 (yet! thankfully). Are games you've joined/hosted under such circumstances lagfests (those I've certainly seen)? Seems strange, especially showing 1 bar even as host?

Yes, total lagfests. And if you stick around enough until wave two, you can everyone else joining and bailing, joining and bailing. Then see the host himself lose connection during wave 2. Epic stuff.
After two disconnects myself, with the final one leading back to title screen, everything seemed to have went back to normal. Or normal enough. But still wondering on what end caused this? PSN, EA? Everything seemed fine on my end. Plus all pugs I seen were 1 bar too for a bit.

I've seen a lot of 1 bar and 2 bar today. In fact, hosting used to show 3 bars for me, now it's also 1.
I didn't notice any horrid lagfest off-host though.

nope, played until about midnight eastern on PS4.
I host and had consistent 4 bars.
I have 600 mb connection though, so I am not the norm...
