Suggested Platinum UR Builds, their problems, which ones to scrap and some gameplay footage

Enjoying platinum but some of these UR characters no longer feel Ultra Rare on this higher difficulty setting. In fact, three of them should probably be shelved and one of them played for fun when you have a squad while the final two are still worthy of their UR designations.
Ranking them from Best to Worst on Platinum:
Avenger, Operator, Exemplar, Duelist, Gladiator/Kineticist
UR Builds for Platinum and Problems Below:
Kineticist Build: My favorite gold character in the game. On platty you should ditch pull. Not enough redbars to make it useful. Outlaw has a lot of dogs but you don’t need points in pull to dispatch of them. Max throw and lance. Use priming ammo. Biotic ascension lets you spam combos as fast as they can be primed. Use saving barrier so you don’t die very fast. You need throw and lance maxed because you will frequently be knocked out of biotic ascension.
Kineticist Problems: saving barrier over active means you could shield strip yourself, or help platinum enemies knock you out of ascension mode or even kill you. Still too useful on platinum to ditch. It is extremely hard to stay in ascension mode on platinum. So hard I consider power efficiency mods ON THE KINETICIST to be mandatory! The new weapons are cool but they have issues with priming/or suck at it right now so it is your risk whether you want to use a siphon or bulwark with her. They would help increase her DR/survuvabiliy but your whole objective is to prime now. She requires priming ammo to be useful or priming teammates. Fire barrels were nerfed. She is COMPLETELY outclassed by the huntress on platinum. If you are going to prime with a weapon and elemental ammo and detonate then why aren’t you using a class with 4 stealth grids, which is hands down the best platinum power in the game? I mean, a soldier with priming ammo and concussive shot is better than the kineticist at priming and detonating. Verdict: put the kineticist on the shelf or save her for gold apex missions/challenges. Use the huntress (or vanilla soldier) to prime and detonate.
Platinum Fix: increase DR in biotic ascension or keep it active until you go down, not until you are shielded.
Exemplar Build: this guy is still decent on platinum. Anything with a barricade is. On gold ditching barricade was the best way to run this as you set off combo after combo at blazing fast speeds. But now you should run an electric barricade and probably team drain if camping with your mates. Set off tech combos. Works best against remnant as tech combos get a 2x shield multiplier. Not sure if detonation feedback is still the way to go.
Problems: outclassed or at least equaled by the human sentinel on platinum. Your power recharge bonus went from 50% to 35% in detonation feedback (NERFED!) but how often does a tech combo even activate it on platinum? Not as much as on gold. I’d prefer the human sentinel now with team drain (or throw if you prefer) and the extra weapon damage in the offensive passive (exemplar has NO weapon damage bonuses). I’ll take the weapons training tree in platinum over detonation feedback which was nerfed and won’t always set off when you need it most. Energy drain does a base damage of 175. I don’t care how many power passives you stack on, its still doing crap damage. You could still spec this for lots of fast priming and combos but the human sentinel is just as good if not better. The exemplar has a better fitness passive though. Still most people will get better power and combo bonuses from their higher veteran bonus from the human characters. I prefer the HSent over the exemplar on platinum and I have both at XX. That weapon damage matters and my exemplar has been shelfed.
Platinum fix: un-nerf detonation feedback. Add in some weapon dame to his offensive skill tree.
Gladiator Build: annihilation is still great. Take radius, debuff and draining field. You can still hammer and double hammer a lot of stuff but you are super squishy now. I’d take nova over pull now as you can hammer any redbar and the nova iframes help more. Works okay in tight spaces (camping the room on sandstorm, or a room on magma or downstairs on derelict). Annhilation field primes for teammates and restores everyones shields if camping together.
Gladiator Problems: Pull to melee is not very good on platinum. With annihilation radius selected your recharge on both pull and nova will be grotesque so you are essentially running three trees with a semi-hard (on platinum) hitting hammer. You can’t ever run out into the open and you have no real answer for bosses and become a liability to your team. Without a detonator, the gladiator is completely outclassed by the asari adept. Spec her for radius, debuff and draining field and throw to 6 for faster recharge. You can combo, in addition to shooting, anything in your field. Hit it with throw, dash away, dash back in and lance it for another BE. The AA is a much better annihilation field than the gladiator, she can detonate, has saving barrier and is sooo much quicker. Used the gladiator a few games. Super painful vs remnant. Was average against outlaw camping downstairs on derelict. He too is getting shelfed for platinum. Play the asari adept instead. Asare Adept GamePlay:
Platinum fix: more DR on platinum, e.g. make rank 5 of fitness 130DR for 5 seconds, make the hammer hit harder on platinum.
Salarian Operator Build: still great on platinum. Max invasion and shield boost. Same general build as gold but an argument can be made against virulence now. The debuff is probably better as invasion is only really killing things are going to die with another few bullets anyways. You won’t get as many points or a gold kill medals, but lets face it, you never deserve a gold kill medal anyways. No downsides or problems. Verdict: still viable on platinum, one of the best support characters in the game.
Angara Avenger Build: best overall carry and solo character in the game. Platinum should have avenger strike at 1. Nade and stealth grid build with nades specced for armor damage is easy mode. I run duration and movement speed on my grids. Movement speed in fitness as well. Helps do objectives faster, revive teamamtes faster and acquire more nades from ammo boxes faster. Avenger strike is an old relic some gold players are still foolishly clinging to. Works great in gold. Not a good team skill in platinum. I see people fighting tooth and nail for keeping avenger strike. I’d honestly kick a person I knew from my lobby for running AS. Its trash in platinum. You spend half your game doing objectives and reviving people as the avenger. Waves 2,4 and 6 I’m on objectives and wave 7 I kill things but my primary goal is to ensure full extraction/full credits. A level one avenger strike, cloak and 2 nades does what AS does much safer as you won’t get shot by a hydra 100m away as your finishing your stunned enemy. Every game I play with the avenger goes sooo smooth for my teammates. Verdict: No downsides or problems. Use for Pug lobbies, make sure in parties one person plays one for easy mode platinum.

Duelist Build: I suppose you could prime and lance but why not use the kineticist for that? Better yet, why not use the huntress(see above)? I spec her for charge (6B) and backlash (6B). Charge, shoot/melee and backlash. Repeat. With her dashing and DR she is very survivable. This character takes the most skill to play out of all the URs as the gameplay is the fastest and most frantic. Been running an efficiency mod on her. Started with a IV and a IV cyclonic but dropped to a III efficiency and a pistol rail amp. Player better that way.
Problem: her DPS seems to be pretty low on platinum. Needs a buff somewhere to be a true UR level character. She needs two more mod slots, one for priming ammo and one for a strength enhancer. She is a bit selfish as you can't rally revive or do objectives and you aren't putting out a ton of DPS. You are basically asking your teammates to carry more of your load so you can have fun. Verdict: I’m not sure I would ever platinum pug her. I play her when I know the people in my lobby can kill things. She is sooo much fun to play, I can sacrifice a little DPS when I am in a party.

Platinum Fix: increase backlash return fire on platinum, charge damage, double her melee or give her a 2x armor melee damage???
Conclusion: So 2/6 URs are very solid on platinum and the rest really just aren't worthy of their UR status. They get outclassed by low tier characters. I say this having extracted on platinum with almost every character in the game.
