So I feel a bit foolish for asking this, but how do you all prioritize the Scrapper's powers? I feel like he has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to powers (especially against red bars). Maybe it doesn't even matter, but I feel like there's an optimal way to prioritize his powers. For armor, Snap Freeze + Flak Cannon is a no brainer, but against red bars...Snap Freeze + Concussive Shot for the cryo explosion? Just Snap Freeze? Or maybe keep Snap Freeze at the ready for armored targets and use Concussive Shot or Flak Cannon? All of his powers are so good I can't decide which one to use!
Edit: Seeing as people are sharing their builds but not really explaining how they play, I don't think my post was clear. I'm looking for gameplay advice. Builds are certainly welcome! But I'm asking more about what do you do once you're in a match.
Edit edit: I'm a moron! Changed the title to be more clear.

Batarian Soldier (66446)
Snap Freeze 6 (Reach, Brittle, Anti-Armor) Flak Cannon 6 (Damage, Anti-Armor, Shredder) Concussive Shot 4 (Repeat Concussion) Combat Training 4 (Power & Melee) Combat Fitness 6 (Health, Defensive Positioning, Hold the Line)
This is my build. I tried to max combat training instead of fitness initially but I found he was just too flimsy on gold let alone platinum without hold the line. Sustained fire would be a nice option but Batarians are shotgun characters imo.

People saying Munitions training to 4 are retarded, sad to report. Take it to 6A for Sustained Fire, use a Hurricane on armored targets plus Snap Freeze for max armor debuff, then fire away with Flak Cannon. Sustained Fire lasts about 3 seconds, so you need to reapply some bullets occasionally.
What you don't want to do is detonate Snap Frozen targets with Concussive. You're removing the armor debuff for a piddly cryo combo. Keep it on so you can dump Flaks and murder armored targets. Concussive at 1, just for crowd control on redbars.

If you're playing him primarily on plat then yes cryo combos with (repeat) concussives aren't terribly useful and as you rightly point out are downright counter-productive but on gold if you remove the ability to chain cryo combos you take away half the fun (functionality) of the character.

Agreed. That's the whole difference between Platinum and Gold (and lower). The strategy is entirely different. What's useless or too situational on Gold is incredibly useful on Plat, and vice versa.

You can play him a variety of different ways. Not being able to decide is what makes the character awesome. For platinum you maximize debuffs. It kills me not using my beloved dhan, but hurricane or another fast firing primer weapon with munitions is better. You can use snap freeze how you like, the cooldown isn't years away. I personally use it on redbars to stop the threat. In platinum a redbar hits for so much damage you vs 1 can be suicide. I usually try and save concussion shot for detonating observers with tech combos. Flak cannon... is flak cannon.

Well... personally, I made concussive shot his dump stat (because detonating Snap Freeze removes the debuff):
Snap Freeze: Reach, Brittle, Anti-Armor Flak Cannon: Damage & Force, Anti-Armor, Shredder Munitions Training: Powers and Melee, Weapon Efficiency, Sustained Fire Combat Fitness: Health and Shields, Arial Evasion, Hold the Line
But I mostly play other characters, also...

Just leveled up the Batarian and played a few matches on platinum because those Bersekers and Hydras were giving me a headache. He wrecks armored enemies, but for some reason he seems squishy and spends more time on the floor rather than fighting. He needs a cloaked squadmate to babysit his ass all the time.

Ok.
Red bar, unshielded: solo - shoot to kill Red bar shielded - strip shield (shoot), snap freeze, concussive shot, mop up
Red bar (group 2+) snap freeze, either shoot to kill, concussive, or melee to detonate IF SAFE, mop up any survivor. If shielded enemy in mix strip shields as top priority before snap freeze
Any armour, snap freeze followed by shooting (sustained fire if you paid attention to GOOD builds), flack. If still alive (saboteurs, agents and medium armour such as nullifies will be dead) continue shot > flack until snapfreeze debuff can be reapplied. DO NOT DETONATE
shielded armour strip shields first before following above.
Use fully automatic weapon. Syphon cyclone is very workable on platinum

There's some great platinum advice here but for gold? You guys are doing it wrong.
You're a batarian so you need to think like a batarian. You're goal is to be as obnoxious and cruel as possible. YOU PUNCH THINGS AND THEY EXPLODE! This is your #1 goal so your build needs to support this nobble cause. If there is a primed red bar in front of you shooting him to kindly put him out of his misery is not an option. Punch that son of a bitch and put little pieces of him all over the map. Make sure you take reach and debuff in snap freeze. Enemies will panic and try to shoot you when they see you running at them. Freeze them as you close in then BOOM! Shielded enemies think they're immune to your cruelty. They're not. Take stunning in flak (gold only). This allows you to get anointed to stop shooting so you can then freeze them and falcon punch them out of existence. It's also helpful against sharpshooters who think they can run away from in order to save their asses. Stun -> Freeze -> boom. Anything with armour gets snap freeze then repeated flak cannon bursts until they are almost dead. DO NOT FINISH THEM OFF WITH FLAK. They don't deserve this mercy. You need to demonstrate your dominance over them by closing the distance and putting your explody fist through their heads. Let it serve as a warning to others.
Batarians do not carry pistols. Use a shotgun. The only other acceptable options are the kishock harpoon gun or the naladen. They are both sufficiently cruel and neither have a hipfire penalty anyway. The naladen has the added bonus of being obnoxious to your team mates. Fuck'em. What has the council ever done for your people anyway? Nothing, that's what.
Your teammates are your medics. This is all they're good for. If they now what's good for them they'll come pick you up when you get downed. If they fail to you need to gel yourself then start stealing as many kills as you can.
This is honestly the most fun I've had since launch. I can't wait til we find the second batarian. He seems like a prick too.
