So I'm sucker of completing every single daily Platinum mission, the MFs are nice and the credit payout is better.
Often times you get gimped, like today (now yesterday) with the -25% power damage.
I still decided to bring the Asari Sentinel to the game, and of course, I ended up with 3 SG kits (Avenger/Avenger/Huntress) who spent the whole match cloaked, so I got to attract all the damn aggro on me.
I've figured people might want to post about their own experience in the daily Platinum mission, so bring it on.
I'm going to start with today's mission with the Asari Sentinel.
The time isn't too good and since every fucking thing is shooting at me, I go down a few times.
I'd like to see more non-stealth kits in the game like I start to see some Batarian and Asari ones.

If I owned a company, my employees would love me. They’d have huge pictures of me up the walls and in their home, like Lenin.

A minute clip from the weakened powers.... I think the asari adept is my new favorite platinum class. Learning curve is sooo high to be effective with her and not wipe but she puts out enough DPS.

Actually running a double throw radius annihilation build with power efficiency mod in some platinum games.

Vortex is worthless on platinum. Draining field has a LOT of utility for you or a whole team if you are camping.

She won't solo and she is really squishy but her DPS is fine if you use cover and your surroundings to your advantage...

My last platinum I was moving around with her, I think I went down 7 times. Used 3 gels and let the angara revive me 4 times...

I use Havoc power build, 1 point turbocharge is still strong when you need it. Strong offense and strong defense, hard to go wrong. Also always running disruptor ammo.. damn good on plat.. the stun makes anointed and saboteurs easy to deal with and I think disruptor adds 15% more damage vs all remnant (maybe hydra too?).

I've tried Architect a few times.. I think it adds a 5th body for aggro which is nice, but the character himself feels a bit too squishy for my playstyle.

I really like the Human Sentinel. Barrier helps a lot with the objectives and she also has a good DPS and survivability. Salarian Operator is also very good.

1. The Batarian Scrapper may look like he's into weird alien porn, but he snap freezes and Flak cannons like a machine.
2. The Salarian Operator will definitely screenshot the nudes you send him on Snapchat, but he spreads STDs better than that virus from 28 days later
3. The Human Soldier absolutely flaunts the fact that he has an amazing FICO score by spamming frags.
4. The Angara Insurgent is not only your hilarious old racist uncle, but he's definitely the one that the Avenger is talking about pounding the blowjob with.
5. The Angara Exemplar actually plays pretty well against remnant, you don't need to spec into barricade, but throwing it down as a novelty is always fun.

Just did today's Apex-Dampened Powers, I believe. The Upload was a killer. Big enemies plopped themselves late in the 3rd circle even though we had a cloaking avenger in it and no one else. Just couldn't lure them away or kill them fast enough. Finally got them dead and out and finished the upload with just 10 seconds to spare. The rest of match was tough-we died a bit, but no one bled out and other objectives were not too tough. I rage gelled a couple times-once with an ally really close. However, I still had one gel left in the evac circle. Full extraction. Feels really good after thinking at least a few times we were going to get overwhelmed and wipe. Still, I'd like to see some +50%/-50% weapon damage missions once in awhile.

Imagine +50% dmg on the Hurricane, Dhan, Piranha....etc

Almost every lobby I joined today was set to Dampened Powers. What is it with everybody, are they masochists? Why would I wanna handicap myself on Platinum? Geez.

Played a lot with the Batarian scrapper and Human sentinel today. The batarian wrecks strong armored enemies, but feels squishy and dies a lot. Human sentinel dies less, has higher survivability, scores better but struggles with armored mobs.

Yeah, I think it was the Bronze Apex mission the first time Aqua was revealed. It reset itself every 2 hours or so and I got MF every time.

Then I landed in a lobby with only 1 infiltrator, and couldn't believe the difference in my experience in that game. I was actually able to function in that game, use all of my skills, have some fun, and post a score that wasn't humiliating.

I'd love to see more non-cloaking characters in Platinum lobbies.

I had the same experience trying to play the sole non-stealth/infi character (my female Hu-Sent) -- felt like all aggro dumped on me! Even had player aggro dumped (some rude comment about "those stupid barricades!!" (My feels! I love my porta-covers) No more. If I see three stealthers, I'm going in as my A.Avenger (heck, I usually play it better than most anyway). Last plat had 4 stealth/infis, went very smooth & easy (thanks to no hack/upload). But, it'd be nice to run other kits & a team with one *good* stealth/infi.

You do not play with enough groups who pull everything onto the upload targets, I see...

I've even had someone playing an avenger do that (and not use stealth). We lost that mission.

(There have been missions where I wish I had taken a non-stealth character, but those are still rare enough that I do not care.)
