I haven't noticed any differences.

I've also noticed a reduction in the predicted success for some of the missions.
But there have always been some problems with the strike teams. I think it's bizarre that they can have offsetting characteristics - I have, for example, Remnant Hysteria and Remnant Expert on the same team. Over time, they can gain more negative traits, but never lose any.
If they wanted the teams to be constantly changed by their experiences, then I feel they should be able to continue to gain and lose both positive and negative traits over time.

That's how small sample sizes work, unfortunately. Everything had been consistent with the %s for my teams.
As for the strike team design, yes it's half-baked just like every other part of this game.

I haven't gained a negative trait in months. Two teams I mainly use for gold.. one has +20 all equipment, and the other has one +40 equipment. Most of the time I can get over 60%. Sometimes 74-81. At worst 50%.
Do your guys have any equipment? Maybe this has some defense against negative traits aside from having high success chance.

No weird drops in % but I did have one team fail the same mission 4 times in a row at 74%. I assume that's just shitty luck.
I also have an outlaw specialist with outlaw hysteria (PTSD?), a careless tactician and a fearless coward.

Dude, my teams regularly fail Bronze with 94% chances of winning. Consider yourself luckier than me.

I have 6 teams at 20 and just toss them in wherever there is a mission. I wish I could send them on platinum apexs.

I've lost more 5 hour long 94% success rate missions that I care to talk about. My beef is that Gold missions give the same mission funds as bronze missions. I mean we get more credits for silver and even more for gold, so why not mission funds? I guess more than 60 MF per day only via strike teams would be OP since there isn't much you can buy directly in the item store such as characters, weapons, and item store specific weapon mods that cost 35, 70, and 120 MF respectively and rotate through the store in 1 week intervals. Oh wait...

I had a streak of fails with supposed 94% success missions. I do not know if that was anything other than RNG, but if it hit enough people maybe it was...

Seem about the same to me.
Also you shouldn't worry about negative traits. You can still have decent percentages on some Gold missions with a fair amount of them.

Dude, my teams regularly fail Bronze with 94% chances of winning. Consider yourself luckier than me. Same, I would say about 1 in 4 or 5 94% success chance mission fail, luckily my 2 latest strike teams haven't gotten any negative effects from this BS.

Give them the highest value + effectiveness gear to mission traits, 1 universal and the five special effects. It does increase the success rate noticably. Also I think the higher the chance of success, the less likely it is for the team to get a negative trait if the mission fails. Haven't got one in months, although there's still the issue of the occasional 94% bronze mission failing.
The permanent gear is rather cheap, too - you'll have those mission funds back in no time.

Is it just me? Was there a something done to the strike teams lately that I missed? The only reason I play this stupid app is for MP and I'm close to being done with MP. Hmm, this night I had my first team get a negative trait for failing a mission with a 70% (not sure if it was higher) success chance.

RNG is RNG.
If you attempt enough 94% success missions you will get streaks of failures eventually.
Just like in D&D, if you roll enough d20s you will get streaks of 1s (or 20s) eventually.
