Take the damn consumables out of all Expert/Premium/Arsenal/Reserve Packs and replace them with boosters.
You bloat the hell out of the drop pool and now boosters are barely dropping.
We have supply and jumbo packs for consumables. these should NOT drop in higher packs.
We need boosters now more than ever with platinum.
FIX/CHANGE THIS!

Instead of that, maybe they could introduce Booster Packs.
Maybe a Regular Booster Pack with level I & II boosters and a chance of a III for ~ 5,000 or so.
And a Premium Booster Pack with level II & III boosters and a chance of a IV for ~ 10,000 or so.
They could also make them purchasable with Mission Funds.

We didn`t have this problem as much in ME3MP.. because once we max out certain consumables to 255 they would be replaced with boosters instead.
Not sure if I remember it correct though...

I would definitely buy them. I had a nice hoarding of boosters and my faves are slowly dwindling down to nothing. putting +3 grenade Equipment in store would also help a lot

That would be correct. And if you had maxed out your rares, you got level 4 (rare) ammo/boosters. It's also worth mentioning that respec cards were capped at 3.

Uncle pls, at this time you don't really expect biower to do something logical? A few weeks ago randall asked them to consider more high level boosters in packs, they acknowledged it, now you see what we got instead? bsn.boards.net/post/760823/thread

I find myself using more random boosters nowadays, that I rarely used before. Mainly because I don't want to use up all the best boosters in a room that has potential to fail because of a hack.
I rarely ever used the universal power booster.... now I have so many of them that I use them. I rarely used the defensive ones, because I prefer DPS. But I use them now because I save my DPS ones for rooms that I can tell will pass platinum with no issue.
Hell, I'm using level 1 boosters in gold because the ease factor now. Just to get rid of the lowest level items.

I've always been an ammo player... disruptor ammo in particular. So aside from ammo, I use whatever the next best available booster is for certain characters. Adepts are a perfect example. I rather have a biotic booster or efficiency for spam. Kroguard or Gladiator on gold are my melee characters, so they always get the strength enhancer. When I host, I ALWAYS have Targeting boosters because of the headshot capabilities. That left Universal powers as the odd booster out. If this were ME3 where we had 3 boosters, then I would probably always have the universal one on. But with the dwindling supplies, it's now being used more often.

The explosion in loot does mean you are proportionally less like to get any given 'thing' that you want, including Boosters.
Do you like Disruptor Ammo? It is even more scarce than before. Do you like Power Efficiency boosters? Ditto.
Ditto for everything, basically.

Now they rarely drop when needed most. we either need booster packs in store or no consumables in higher packs (or both) boosters would still be plentiful if consumables had a cap that wasn't utterly retarded, back on me3mp I would buy a consumables pack to refill whatever I had used up and then buy the higher level packs to get more lvl 4 boosters, (obviously I wasn't popping to the store every time I finished a match either) this way with the cap at 255 I kept full gel/ops/ammo/missiles stacks for the start of each spending spree and maximised the chances of better stuff, oh and since the other consumables were capped at 255 and I never used t1/2 stuff that was maxed meaning I only got t3/4 shit indeed at one point my account had capped out everything at full stacks just because I tended to play gold matches without using any boosters.... its the retarded idea of opening everything up to 64k items per stack that's killed this, the simple answer was to limit the amount of ores required to make items in the sp side of the game or use a different item link table for sp/mp (which they did in me3 since the mp was a bolt on game not cross linked) but hey ho trust bioware to fuck up the simple things

Assuming boosters would replace consumables if consumables were to hit their max, I imagine they could just lower the maximum amount of consumables you could have (maybe 999?). This way, you don't have to introduce more packs in the store; while also addressing the issue of boosters.

I think I have 20 odd again now after getting all those bronze packs to get those bronze toons to level x-x as well .....

I think the current theory is that they max out at 65535 each, which is about 130000000 credits' worth of jumbo packs. I'm testing this myself right now, I should have results by tomorrow.

Happy hoarding! yes I knew it was at around 64k, because it was posted by a datamine some time ago and then cconfirmed by a game dev.... the problem is anything over 999 is just stupid and realistically anything over 255 is pretty dumb, biowares answer in dai was to uncap health potions when they realised people were getting all 10 cards as being item loot instead of 5 items and 5 potions.... this game they went full on retard so you always get something you don't care about.... it almost makes me want to cash hack, spam buy a million jumbo packs and cap that shit already just so I can troll the store with giving me characters and guns tbh .... i'm sure that's how the majority will defeat this as well if for no other reason than to poke one in their eye for not being friendly in the first place /
