Assuming boosters would replace consumables if consumables were to hit their max, I imagine they could just lower the maximum amount of consumables you could have (maybe 999?). This way, you don't have to introduce more packs in the store; while also addressing the issue of boosters. I think the current theory is that they max out at 65535 each, which is about 130000000 credits' worth of jumbo packs. I'm testing this myself right now, I should have results by tomorrow. At 3 sec/match, does it take longer to make it or spend it? Probably making it, since there are map load times involved.

At 3 sec/match, does it take longer to make it or spend it? With time loading in and out etc. it's more like a minute per 100k, and I can buy a 10k jumbo every 10 or 12 seconds, so it definitely takes longer to spend it. I'm using a spare phone to buy packs in the Apex app using a macro. It's more efficient than buying them in the game because I don't randomly lose connection in the app like I do in MP.

There is a cap. 65535 confirmed. Happy hoarding! yes I knew it was at around 64k, because it was posted by a datamine some time ago and then cconfirmed by a game dev.... the problem is anything over 999 is just stupid and realistically anything over 255 is pretty dumb, biowares answer in dai was to uncap health potions when they realised people were getting all 10 cards as being item loot instead of 5 items and 5 potions.... this game they went full on retard so you always get something you don't care about.... it almost makes me want to cash hack, spam buy a million jumbo packs and cap that shit already just so I can troll the store with giving me characters and guns tbh .... i'm sure that's how the majority will defeat this as well if for no other reason than to poke one in their eye for not being friendly in the first place / Don't be surprised guys when patch 1.1 rolls around and Bioware is just like Consumables and Booster limit raised from 65535 to 99999999999999999999999999 We listened to feedback about how easy Device objectives waves are so the timer per device has been reduced from 38 seconds to 12 We've also made it so you are no longer able to Jump or Dash while carrying the Retrieval objectives and using Cloak, Stealth Grid Charge or Avenger Strike will cause the objective to be dropped We've also heard many are complaining about the changes made to Hack in 1.09, we've listened and replaced Hack waves on Platinum with a random chance to instantly fail the round Cobras, we felt were still a little too strong and have reduced there damage so that Raiders can now survive 5 direct hits XX variants for all weapons have been added, ranks XI to XX will only increase maximum ammo by 0.1% per rank 1 New character added which is an UR and has 3 abilities we already have in the game, and no new passives or unique features

You suppose Bioware realizes our experience today will influence our decisions to buy/play Anthem a year from now? I'm getting so soured with the ridiculousness of this slot machine approach. They are (may be?) losing some of their most loyal player base.

Hell, I'd be happy (well, -ish) if they at least limited the consumables to 999. You know, since there are three digit numbers displayed originally. Even tried buying supply packs to see what happened when I got that far... And... I eventually got 1001 reloads. *sigh*

I find it disheartening that I struggle to keep myself in tier 2 boosters for my more commonly played setups when all I buy are 100k packs. I'd be happy with only tier appropriate boosters (3 and 4) dropping from 100k packs, but in my mind, the deeper problem is that there are just so many different boosters. I'd really really like to see either an additional, dedicated booster slot in these packs or, as others have mentioned, a supply pack equivalent for boosters. Both would be nice.
As it stands now, I find myself in a very strange place when it comes to t3 and t4 boosters. When I feel it would be appropriate to bust these out, I also feel there is a good chance for failure. When I'm confident in the match, I don't feel the need to equip them. I'd be way less stingy with them if I weren't afraid of completely running out of the boosters I use, which is a very real possibility given how we have essentially no control whatsoever on the acquisition and quality of boosters.
It doesn't even really make sense that we (or at least I) are this strangled for them either, they haven't really monetized boosters yet (unless you count supply packs, which are a joke for boosters).
*grumble*

well take heart its 130 million to max out on ammo/ops/gel/rockets its only 9.5 bill to cap out on all the consumables as well, assuming of course that bio ware was dumb enough to put respect cards at 65535 as well....
and that's providing you can just keep buying jumbo packs to max everything out and started off with zero of each consumable and assuming of course that bioware in its complete cash cow retard mentality also set the jumbo packs to always give 5 each of ammo/ops/gel/rockets regardless of what you have in the pack.... otherwise its possible that t1/2 items will cap out along with gel/ops etc in around 4.5 billion, or if the jumbo packs start giving out just boosters then you should be able to cap out t1/2 + ops etc packs in around 2.6 bill.....or everything for around 5 bill (assuming you get 10 boosters per pack once ops etc are capped out)
whatever way you work it out your going to need to figure out a cash hack if you don't want to be dying of old age before capping out the stuff in order to ensure your getting just what you actually want from the equipment packs (i.e. only t3/4 boosters and guns /char cards.....)
its like there literally begging folks to hack the game just so its more enjoyable....

No 65535 cap on consumables. Can I get a small loan of 10000000000 credits? If you have 70 days straight to do nothing but hang out in-game while the credits roll up, then sure.* *Does not count time lost due to crashes, disconnections, blue screens, eating, sleeping, working, etc.

We said the same thing after DAI yet here we are. Yep, here we are. Yet, I didn't buy any DAI DLC, and didn't buy this game. If you think that everything is fine and Bioware is situation normal, I have to tell you you aren't paying attention to these forums at all, or especially the rest of the internet. Biower dun fukd up, and it will take a much better product, with better marketing and delivery, for Anthem to be even potentially the success they hope it to be.

If consumables had capped at 65535, I was going to try to max all bronze boosters to see if jumbos would drop silver boosters, and then gold boosters, etc., but now I'm just going to get together enough credits to max out my manifest.

Its trivial at best, difference between Siphon I and X is 0.75% life steal. Bulwark ranks are equally as useless, Concussive being the only one that has ranks that can make a difference, as the explosion increases by I believe 100 per rank capping at 1700 at X compared to the 700 a I. (Could be wrong I only have 2 Concussive weapons both rank I)

Take the damn consumables out of all Expert/Premium/Arsenal/Reserve Packs and replace them with boosters. You bloat the hell out of the drop pool and now boosters are barely dropping. We have supply and jumbo packs for consumables. these should NOT drop in higher packs. We need boosters now more than ever with platinum. FIX/CHANGE THIS!But BioWare extensively tested Platinum for weeks. I am confused as to who to trust anymore...

Silly, lazy, year one uni coding.
