Apex4 / Level One Soldier

Yeah. Gold is officially two men game now. 


I only care about one other good player... which often fail to meet my expectation.  :srs:

This is why I refuse to kick on gold based on loadout/level/APEX; enough noobs have pleasantly surprised me to broadly give them all benefit of the doubt. And while I don't particularly like soloing or clutching multiple waves, (on gold) as long as 1-2 teammates are up ~60% of the match I can cruise through most games. Platinum is a different story.

Also, I'd like to see the playerbase expand, not contract. The more people can get comfortable playing gold, the longer life this MP will have. Last week when one of the dailies was gold waves, I deliberately put myself in noob-heavy lobbies over and over again (I left any with multiple APEX +5k players) for exactly that reason.

If they're obnoxious, I'll leave after a match, or kick if playing with friends, but not before.

Only time I kick someone is if someone is already receiving 2 votes and I can clearly see the reason behind votes...  :amirite:

Noobs probably do better than any of the APEX 25K+ I've played with.

I'll kick if I feel someone is hurting our chances of success. On gold that's not really an issue anymore.

Unless Tikki has a Supply Pack Transmitter.

Last night on Platinum I saw a guy enter a lobby as Apex 5 Level 1 Human Soldier with Avenger I and Katana I. He instantly readied up.

We kicked him.

Apex rating is not guarantee of quality though. I imagine when I drop into a PuG lobby they assume my 15k Apex means I at least have a vague idea of how not to die repeatedly. Hah. Joke's on them.

That said, bringing an avenger or katana into platinum unironically should result in an auto-ban.

In my region there is high lever Apex rating player 25k in the top 30 global player in ps4 who really isn't a good player or maybe he's too young a player to understand how to play this game.
He usually last or third. I remember he got outscored by a 2k apex player using a below 20 human sentinel while he was using a level 20 krogan with siphon II and bulwark weapon III. Can't remember the exact weapon. And that krogan he used also died several times in a wave. He would just camp someplace and shoot When he dies he would revive himself without waiting for one of us to help hiim so by the 5th wave he may have exhausted his revives.
