The end of this quest involves a choice between revealing the mistake made by the Nexus brass (siding with Sid) or covering the mistake up (siding with Addison). Revealing the mistake results in the scandal being reported by HNS and covering the truth up results in Ryder insisting that Sid wipe her omni-tool of the evidence she had collected. What I don't know is whether or not there is any further consequences to this decision later on in the game.
My decision was to side with Sid and reveal the scandal. What was yours? (and do you know of any other consequences?)
PS: I wanted to make a poll, but I don't see the "Add Poll" button they mention in the Help secction... Just me being blind as a bat, probably... so this is an informal poll just by posting a reply.

I didn't see any further consequences.
As for my choice? Syd. Screw Addison, she doesn't get to lie just to make herself feel better.

Unfortunately yet another choice that was either there for roleplaying flavour or hinging on a sequel. I can't see it ever mattering as it's not part of the critical path.
I'd always side with Sid though. Addison was by far and away the worst character, and I don't even get a rush of renegade enjoyment out of siding with her. I just feel like a corporate tool

I just feel like a corporate tool I wasn't expecting it to be an earth shattering decision with long-reaching impacts... I was thinking more along the lines of whether or not Vetra or Sid get upset with you if you side with Addison. Since I sided with Sid, I was wondering if Addison said anything more later on in the game about the scandal generated by the news hitting HNS. That's all. Since I've since completed the game, I now know that Addison doesn't say any more and there seem to be no consequences beyond the one news flash. I couldn't get Sid to say anything to me after the meeting with Addison. I'll probably play it the other way and side with Addison next time just to see if Sid or Vetra say anything after at all.

I always side with Sid. Addison seems to make a lot of lousy choices and I have no desire to encourage or support Addison. I must say though that I'm not pleased with a 17 year old Syd thinking she can take serious matters into her own hands as often as she seems to do. Her actions help save people but Syd seems to have a lot of resources for a 17 old...doesn't really make sense.

With the oversight of Vetra, Syd can become a powerhouse of "do good".

I didn't get a sense of that happening at all. Vetra commented to Ryder that she was enjoying not having to look after Sid so much. However, as I said, Sid literally would not say anything to Ryder after the meeting with Addison. Is that a bug?

Yes, I did Vetra's loyalty mission long before I completed this quest... and, after starting this thread, I even completed that run through of the game. Hmmm... I'm not sure now... she may have gone completely silent after Vetra's LM other than the conversation with Addison. I don't see why Vetra's LM would have caused her to start "snubbing" Ryder though. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think I basically encouraged Vetra to allow Sid to help, but then told her to stay silent for the very last bit that we'd handle it. In the last conversation, I'm pretty sure I told Vetra that Sid had done the right thing and then just asked Vetra if she was OK after Sid left in the shuttle.

It's either after the Loyalty, or at the endgame party. I'm not sure which, but Vetra suggests Sid is being taught.

I can't quite remember either...but I think I told Vetra not to hide the darker side of her work from Sid. I think that led to them working closer together? I was kinda hoping on my first playthrough that if I sabotaged Addison enough she'd lose her job by the end of the game. Instead I've put Morda in charge in the hopes that in MEA2 she'll headbutt her rather than take any more of her shit

Always side with Sid, it feels like the right thing to do.

As it is shown in Vetra's quest, Sid really didn't had any trouble in using Vetra's methods. So maybe she learned by watching her sister (and stealing her passwords ).
