5 Dailies will really punish the folks that cannot play [...] create even more player segregation. [...] you will be left in the dust by those who do not. This whole "make progression a slog for everyone so they don't get too far ahead of me" routine you have going is ridiculous. This is not a MMO. This is not a competitive shooter with ranked matches. The power creep does not keep raising the bar for entry in whatever difficulty. You cannot be "left in the dust" because nobody is going to ask you for your parse logs before letting you in their lobby, and except for a few platinum snobs, no one demands that you have an arbitrary level of gear to play. New "content" doesn't require that you have maxed whatever was considered BiS before it dropped to be accessible. Nobody cares about anyone else's progress, except you. Is this a race? Are you concerned about your place in the leaderboards? I thought you didn't care about any of that shit and just played for fun? More optional ways to obtain credits and/or MFs for those who want to put in the extra time are objectively good, because it incentivizes players to stay logged in, which increases the amount of active players at any given time -- something this game sorely needs. Your fears of falling behind the curve are subjective, and more to the point, groundless.

Didn't bother reading the rest of your post after this. Some people bought the game purely for the MP experience. Well, not purely in my case but I definitely bought the game with MP in my mind, yes. I haven't even finished SP yet because, well, MP...

Didn't bother reading the rest of your post after this. Some people bought the game purely for the MP experience. Well, not purely in my case but I definitely bought the game with MP in my mind, yes. I haven't even finished SP yet because, well, MP... Me too. I bought MEA Super Deluxe addition with extra $40 on top of $60... because I was looking more into MP part of the game. MEASP was a pure disappointment to me. I literally had to drag myself to finish the game because I couldn`t criticize it until I at least finish it once. MEAMP started really disappointing too.. but it seemed like it was on the right track to be decent. Now.. I don`t know anymore... I just don`t know if MP is going toward right direction or not...

They could add weapon challenges. And make them different than apex. Not too many dailies though, I'm playing on 2 systems. OMG! double the torture with 6x weapon variant grind...you are a masochist!

Subjective statement. Speed of progression is there for a reason. Apparently it was too fast before, otherwise BW wouldn't feel compelled to bloat the manifest and MF gate a bunch of stuff.
No, this is a co-op multiplayer with character/account progression. Quite frankly the only reason it doesn't qualify as an MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) is because it's not 'massive'.
It is not. It is a co-op shooter where we see e-peen posts about scoreboards/accomplishments on a weekly basis.
No, but feeling useless in a group is not the best feeling.
Yet <1k people get kicked from gold lobbies constantly. So arbitrary level of gear IS there.
Good is subjective. Even for those who want to put in extra time.
With that said, I am ok with whatever BW cooks up. More dailies/weeklies/adding more useless crap to the manifests. Until a certain point after which I'll move myself to the said 3s platinum matches as I'll feel that the game went from being a fun distraction to a part time job. Part of it stems from the fact that BW's current 'dailies' are downright awful, and promote either bottom feeding (bunch of 20k+ point people blowing up bronze matches! Exciting!) or having people with said <1k manifests trying to do gold dailies.

Your fears of falling behind the curve are subjective, and more to the point, groundless. But, but, but... I have actually suggested more ways for more people to earn extra bonuses, i.e. Dailies and Weeklies rather than just Dailies which improves the QoL by allowing the more flexible playing schedule (with some days being more, and some - less hours) and thus giving more folks the chance to play the game succesfully. I also suggested a Daily specifically targeting the leet players who can do Platinum with associated higher reward. All I am suggesting a slightly more flexible scheme in my post (i.e. 2 universal dailies, one leet guys Daily and a couple of universal Weeklies).
What I am concerned about is enough playerbase to play with. And too heavy agrind with too high stratification leads to quickly diminishing playerbase due to the reasons zan indicated. People in this game can inspect your gear, there is vote kick and you can quit a lobby if you don't like gear/Apex.
Dailies with a significant reward attached cannot be so onerous as to glue your butt into the chair for 3 hours per day every day & make you push yourself despite not wanting to play any more (or at all) that day. Gods forbid 5 to 8, because it is a job. It gotta be a fun extra for what you are willing and happy to do as you play.
Weeklies really help with that, because they work with your natural desire to binge play one day when the going is good, and then do something else the other.
There are other ways of doing it, i.e. associating a reward (as in the suggested pack drop) with say completing 3/5 Dailies, not all five.

Subjective statement. Speed of progression is there for a reason. Apparently it was too fast before, otherwise BW wouldn't feel compelled to bloat the manifest and MF gate a bunch of stuff. Whether the current progression speed is adequate is evidently subjective. What is ridiculous is rejecting proposals that may speed up progress for other people for fear of being "left in the dust", when their progress affects you in absolutely no way. No, this is a co-op multiplayer with character/account progression. Quite frankly the only reason it doesn't qualify as an MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) is because it's not 'massive'. So it's not massive. It also doesn't have direct player competition, and cooperation is, at best, incidental. There is no persistent world. There is no structure to the "content". Inventory management is bare bones if you can even call it that. There is no "endgame", mid game or whatever, because it all plays the same. There is no organized player grouping. Yeah. Not really comparable to an MMO in any substantial way except for the microtransactions model. It is not. It is a co-op shooter where we see e-peen posts about scoreboards/accomplishments on a weekly basis. And even "co-op" is a bit of a stretch. Payday2 is co-op. Evolve was co-op. In this game you basically play in the same map as three other people with the same goals. Cooperation is not required and rambos make up a significant part of the player base. Not sure what's your point, though. These aren't even the official boards, the bauces here flaunting their eDongs trouble you how exactly? No, but feeling useless in a group is not the best feeling. Even if I gave a lick about feels in this context, the fact is that, much like IRL, feelings of inadequacy have little to do with your "equipment". A rank X UR deals just ~15% more damage than at rank I. UR characters aren't the end-all be-all, and the current plat superstar, the Avenger, doesn't do anything that you can't do on a human Infiltrator. Yet <1k people get kicked from gold lobbies constantly. So arbitrary level of gear IS there. Nah. Even if those kicks happen, it has more to do with people expecting the <1k APEX player to be a no-consumables freeloader than with the equipment he has on. You think some 20k APEX guy is going to get kicked for running with common guns on a level 1 human? Good is subjective. Even for those who want to put in extra time. Oh, shit. "Good is subjective"? So edgy. Let's see if I can't channel Nietzsche too: fear is the mother of morality obsessive-compulsive daily grinding. How's that? Seriously though: MFs and credits are good, drugs are bad. M'kay? With that said, I am ok with whatever BW cooks up. More dailies/weeklies/adding more useless crap to the manifests. Until a certain point after which I'll move myself to the said 3s platinum matches as I'll feel that the game went from being a fun distraction to a part time job. Part of it stems from the fact that BW's current 'dailies' are downright awful, and promote either bottom feeding (bunch of 20k+ point people blowing up bronze matches! Exciting!) or having people with said <1k manifests trying to do gold dailies. You know what's funny? I'm already past that point. I uninstalled the game last week. I'm just here for the shitposts at this point, because I know that biower are simply incapable of turning this debacle around. Might have been a bit more open-minded around the time 1.06 dropped, but there's just no way they'll come back from 1.09. The "Billy Streams MEAMP" thread has all the evidence I need.

I'm still voting for weekend-long challenges that give a reward only when the community goal has been met... Anything to promote more people to play for longer duration is better. Anything... Maybe they can start with a Homecoming Challenge to celebrate The Return of the Hudson...
