exactly. We know Casey is a fairly competent game developer but will he be a good manager that's an entirely different beast. That and since his last effort had rather mixed results we'll have to see. But it's understandable to be skeptical.

There was never a friction between BW Montreal and BW Edmonton, not even Kotaku article suggests that.

What there was a lack of unified vision within BW Montreal management, so BW Edmonton had to intervene as Mac Walters was( and still is) a Creative Director of ME:A.

I am just confused where you're getting all these.
Professional major studios in video game industry do not behave like some youtubers or bloggers who cause drama on daily basis. They have heavy discipline. And BioWare's business culture was always to keep their staffers happy and friendly as much as realistically possible per each individual.

In my case, I was pretty mad about BioWare and Mass Effect up until like a month before ME:A release.

So, I'd have been mad either way, ha!

By the end of 2014 at least a dozen people had left BioWare Montreal for other studios, and it wasn’t clear to the remaining staff whether those positions would be replaced. The animation team in particular was understaffed, sources said, and when people left, their positions sometimes weren’t refilled.

As I am saying, IF that was the case, that's an issue of general BW management.
