Something I've always wondered... say I didn't meet the 1,000,000 credit unlock threshold yesterday for Reserve Packs will it roll over today?
Or do you have to open packs contiguously for it to trigger at all? If you open 5 packs now and then wait a couple of hours to open the same packs would you be on a new timer again?

Yes, the pity timer resets every time it's used. You can buy other packs in between though, it's saved on the servers for every pack. But it isn't shared by different packs, so each pack has its own.

No, it only resets after it's activated. You can buy 1 pack per day and still get the pity drop every 10th pack. Not sure about non-pity ur drops nowadays, they might reset it too.

Please explain me, what are "pity drops"? Unlike in ME3MPyou could open 100 PSP's for example & not get any UR's, Bioare added a 'pity counter' so that you could only go up to 9 packs before you get a UR as the 10th would contain a guaranteed UR, quite helpful in this game with so many UR's.

Yesterday I had a streak of 5 reserves packs with UR. And in one pack there were two UR characters (and vanilla human infiltrator XVIII, which also is cool), so 6 UR in a row. I was buying only reserves packs, approximately 1 pack per two games (buying a pack as i save enough funds). Overall since i started marking I have 12 UR per 24 reserves packs.

I've been tracking UR drops since 1.09. I only bought Premium packs besides odd Jumbo packs here and there. So far it's been averaging one UR per 4 premium packs with consistent silver and gold cards in addition.

I had to play until the first pack without the UR...

It seems to me that they've increased the drop rate since 1.09. Before the patch I often relied on the pity timer for my UR drops but that's no longer the case.

I have terrible luck with Reserve Packs which makes me curious about the pity counter - they're the most frustrating ones for me as I have only ever gotten pity drops with them since they launched and never unlocked the Exemplar but have everything else at around X or better mostly due to Premiums before 1.09. I'm expecting nothing but pity Exemplar drops when the new Batguard is released.

Haven't looked at the thread in a while so maybe this is debunked, but there was a thought that it's possible the pity timer is reset after a patch. Also sounded like the premium packs from Super Deluxe edition have their own separate pity timer.

Th pity timer can be reset when the server is patched, this has happened after the major updates, so when a new patch is announced you should stop buying packs after they give you an ultra rare so as to not get the unfortunate luck of opening 9 before patch and 9 after without an ultra.
