12.5% weapons damage.
Edit: This is from the app, not in game. It seems terrible in any case. It's clearly for those who want to wield different weapon types, but there are a number of paired weapon type equipment that are easily better at 15%. Unless you want an odd combination like a shotgun and a sniper, this really doesn't make much sense.

Just one this week? Hopefully they're still fixing the issue and the rest will pop up.
Also, holy shit densified ammunition sucks.

I remember that thread had a majority of people saying they only need one weapon, but usually when I inspect a lobby (any difficulty), both weapon slots are filled (mine included).

I usually use only one weapon on most of my space magic characters, but if I can carry 2 with no recharge penalty, might as well.

I usually carry two weapons, but often use only one of them. But a side arm on a Sniper kit could always come in handy.

It's really pointless.
There are 6 ways to have two weapons. AR pistol AR shotgun AR SR Shotgun pistol Shotgun SR Pistol SR
We already have like half of these at 15% damage bonus, why not just make the other 3 and be done with it rather than pseudo nerf them.

I said this before about the Character Veteran rank bonuses: likely the percentages appear analogue but are actually digital.
In other words, there is some percentage at which weapon damage ticks up to the level needed to two-shot or three-shot whatever a Gold redbar. Any percentage below that helps a little bit (because more damage is always better than not), but any percentage above that doesn't help really.
Maybe it's 12.5% and maybe it's 15%.

More damage isn't always better than not. Just like you say about overkill, the difference is how many shots it takes to kill an enemy. If that number doesn't change, the bonus may as well be zero. That's also what makes the tiny bonus stats so infuriating. Of course in reality we have multiple players attacking the same target, so it isn't that simple. But underkill is just as important as overkill.

Yeah, sure, I guess if I can get more damage for free I'll take it, but you're right, it may not actually help at all.

It's really pointless. There are 6 ways to have two weapons. AR pistol AR shotgun AR SR Shotgun pistol Shotgun SR Pistol SR Well, actually, since the introduction of weapon variants, it's also viable to carry dual guns of the same type (e.g., 2 pistols: 1 Concussion, 1 Bulwark), which adds another four combinations to your list. I've been running Platinum with Dual Chargers - a Siphon and a Concussion - quite nicely...
