Bonus stats today: ... All Power Recharge Speeds 10 !! ^That would be a goal I am looking forward to as I like spamming powers. Mine is curently at 7 and though I play not all that much anymore it is likely that it will happen eventually.
Which brings me to a question I have, as what I really want to see is what it is like to play some of the "combo-tastic" characters (especially the Human Adept) with the maximum recharge speed reduction that the game allows just to see how many booms that will produce.
One ingredient for this which I do not have is the structural ergonomics gear, which I understand has been seen in the store only a few times so far and I have never seen it myself. Is this a known bug or just coincidence ?
It is probably not all that much more awesome than using expert package with efficiency mod IV, but like that max speed/acceleration on cars I am just itching to find out .
Besides that, I am closing in on maxing all UR characters and having at least one of each UR weapon variant would be nice. But right now I would trade that for the minimum possible recharge speed in a heartbeat.

TopTrogI have this video from a Combo-tastic Gold mission months ago: I only used a Power Efficiency Mod III (along with Bonus Recharge Stat at 10%), so my cooldowns here were: Pull: 4.4 seconds Singularity: 8.7 seconds Shockwave: 6 seconds With Power Efficiency Mod IV + Structural Ergonomics: Pull: 3.6 seconds Singularity: 7.4 seconds Shockwave: 5 seconds Note: Wave 6 Hack was a bit stressful.

If you want non-stop biotic booms, a Human Kineticist specced for Active Barrier and in Ascension Mode against the Kett is your best bet.

Recharge speeds are now very good even for platinum without any additional boosters. I .. cant remember when I've used Efficiency boosters anymore. So maybe that tells something too.

Thank you very much, that was a very cool vid . So on paper the CD difference is not all that big, good to know . If you want non-stop biotic booms, a Human Kineticist specced for Active Barrier and in Ascension Mode against the Kett is your best bet. Thank you, I really enjoy playing her like that . My favorite is still the pwnytail, nothing like those multi-booms with singularity/shockwave. Some of the most enjoyable games I remember involved 4 of them and wave 6 hacks. I mainly use my lovely lady Commando - Commando Equipment and thats it. Recharge speeds are now very good even for platinum without any additional boosters. I .. cant remember when I've used Efficiency boosters anymore. So maybe that tells something too. Thank you, that is also a setup I really enjoy . Already at Bonus Stat Level 7 she´s no slouch in the recharge speed department, I´m just curious if it would feel any different with the theoretical minimum. I´ll find out eventually .

TopTrog The key is speccing into Expanding Singularity with Duration and reducing shockwave's recharge rate as much as possible. Then, you can have up to two Shockwave biotic detonations within Singularity's duration. Check out this Platinum solo with the Human Adept specced this way (used Expert Package and Power Efficiency Mod III + 10% bonus recharge rate).

You may also like playing the Human Vanguard with Seismic Nova, Charge, and Shockwave with Power Recharge boosters and equipment. Or the Krogan Vanguard with Charge and Seismic Nova. You can get a lot of non-stop biotic combos once you get Nova's recharge down to 6.2-7 seconds or so.

On reasonable manifest goals, I'd like to be effective on Plat teams and clear the table on everything not UR.
With all the new shit, the latter will take me until the next Mass Effect release ... #workingasintended

Never intended to get here, but here I am … maxed my MEAMP manifest.
I've been working on getting all my Ryders enough research points for their Level X weapons and armor … because I foolishly spent the research points on crap I never intended to make or use. Then there was no DLC … so a shortfall. Have 14 unique runs in SP (one of each character class, with both Ryders) … so that's a lot of research points. I'm guessing it will be about two more weeks of APEX missions before I finish my last Ryder's points. But before that happened … I ran out of UR weapons cards. Really didn't see this happening, but eventually built a spreadsheet to track progress, because I knew it was getting close. Why get the research points for completed SP runs? … because I'm a hopeless optimist.
Initially, the Bulwark variants had a sizeable lead, but averages averaged out and in the end, the last four weapons … one Bulwark, one Concussive and two Siphons were what I had in the last three UR drops. The concussive exited first, then the bulwark and one of the siphons (double UR drop in a premium pack) on 30 Sep … and finally, the last siphon on 1 Oct.
Including the baseline URs … 710 weapon cards, plus 140 character cards … 850 total URs.
Did basic packs until commons maxed, advanced packs until uncommons maxed, then went to expert packs to work on rares … went back to basic and advanced packs to max the uncommon variants and common/uncommon expanded characters, plus the technical mods pack to max the mod variants, then went back to the expert pack to work on the rare cards. Once the rare cards were exhausted, ran almost exclusively with the premium pack … tried some of the other higher end packs, was not impressed.
In the last two months, the drop rate seemed to pick up … to include more frequent double UR drops. Originally I figured that I wouldn't max the manifest until just before Anthem came out. By the time I got to 80% completion on my variants, the lead the bulwarks initially had was gone. After that, the variants went back and forth as to which had fewer cards to completion.
As far as I can tell, the bulwark variants are just UR card sinks. I don't notice that much difference between a siphon I and X weapons … though I'm sure there is a benefit. The level X concussive weapons are noticeably better than their lower level brethren … the booms for a weak point kill … even on gold is effective.
I really didn't play much platinum … a very few pugs and a larger number played with folks on my FL. Mostly I pugged gold and played with friends when they were available. And I avoided hosting … because the fourth player in the lobby invariable resulted in lag issues for everyone but me. Prefer gold, because I can take any character and any weapon and do fine. On platinum, that's not true. Also, I can carry gold waves if necessary, I really can't do that on platinum.

@grinch congrats! I'm still a long ways away from maxing my UR variants (just under 300), and seeing that I'm finally getting around to finishing the single player campaign, I don't think I'm going to get there. I'm satisfied as it is with at least one of each UR variant.
Do you know how many hours you spent in MP (its listed in the APEX HQ app) to get there?

I don't have the app (don't have a smart phone) … the time listed in Origin combines both SP and MP time … so really can't give an exact number. With 14 completionist runs in SP, I know I spent a lot of hours there … plus dumping my APEX/strike team loot boxes into the various Ryder runs adds a bit, even though I'm otherwise done with SP. I'm guessing that with 14 runs, I probably spent 1400-1600 hours in SP, plus whatever is added into the mix for dumping the loot boxes into a Ryder's cache. As of right now, Origin says I've played 4190 hours … how much is SP and how much is MP? If my high end 1600 hours guess is close for SP, then I'd put my MP time at ~2600 hours. Of course, that assumes my guess on how long my SP runs take is somewhat close. I really didn't pay attention to that. My first two runs resulted in level 71-72 characters … wasn't very efficient. The rest of the runs fell in the mid 60s … so probably less time per run. But how much time per run? A hundred hours per run … more? I really don't know. On the bright side, having a shallow learning curve, I've had enough time to become semi-competent. But I won't be doing any platinum solos any time soon.

HOLY SHIT! - excuse my language! I have 1687 hours of which SP is ~ 2x90h (planning next run already) As far as I can tell, the bulwark variants are just UR card sinks. I don't notice that much difference between a siphon I and X weapons … though I'm sure there is a benefit. The level X concussive weapons are noticeably better than their lower level brethren … the booms for a weak point kill … even on gold is effective. We tested them long ago on either gold or platinum, everyone having bulwarks as first weapon, siphon secondary. Staying together the DR did have a noticeable effect, but it wasnt too much I'm afraid... so yeah, they're not actually needed unfortunately But if I'd just gotten bulwark PAW 1, I would use that instead of many others

I got my Health Regeneration Cap at Level 10 the other day. Power Recharge has long been at 10. Max Shields and Max Health are at 8, and the Health and Shields Regen Delay Reduction is lagging behind at 4. I should be able to get that one to 5. Anything beyond those levels, however, will involve a lot of grinding (even with 50+ Level III and IV XP boosters) that I don't want to subject myself to.

I've been running gold+platinums with XP boosters for a month now, it makes some APEX games difficult because of their modifiers but with good friends and some good PUGs its been okay. So it'll up the stats while I enjoy the play
