Not particularly relevant to the board but relevant because of the placement of future bioware games in the form of predictions. Mine predictions:

>ANTHEM - 2018 [already dated]
>Star Wars game - 2019
>Dragon Age 4 - 2020
>Jade Empire 2 - 2021
>Mass Effect reboot (sorry Andromeda is dead) - 2022

2020 Mass Effect Andromeda 2
2021 Knights of the Old Republic or extended universe like Rogue: One (please Maker)
2022 Jade Empire 2/Dragon Age 5 or it's successor (milk it for as long as you want BioWare. Greatest franchise ever in my opinion.)

That's what I want. Actually I want every title above for Christmas 2017, but that's not happening.

I can dream man. Mass Effect jumped off the rails as the internet hate mob predicted, but it's no longer the embarrassing "gut-blow" that was released in March. The writing will improve as scope and direction is better laid out this time around (you have to believe that this is being focused on while they reassess going forward). Is BioWare going to try to correct their mistakes? Of course. They always do, but it's not always the right answer. They're human after all. EA's Marketing should be answering this question. (finishes breath)

Sounds like a dream line-up to me! Unrealistic as hell, of course, but would be totally awesome! :wizard:

I would love the next Dragon Age by 2019, but doubt it will happen that soon (although I have not been keeping up with the news). Agreed that it is the greatest franchise ever. I enjoyed playing every protagonist in that series and have favorite companions from each game that feel like old friends.

A KOTOR reboot or something related would be awesome! (I think I drooled a little)

I would also shove an MEA DLC in that line-up somewhere (like, a few months from now...just to complete the fantasy!).

I like to dream big. DLC to fill in the time between each title. Like every 90 days or quarterly. Nothing super big. Even a series of linked side stories would be cool. I'm a content junkie.

Early 2020s (maybe before a ME) - Maybe a JE, maybe a SW
Early to mid 2020s - More Mass Effect and/or Dragon Age?
Mid 2020s - Anthem 2? (except if so successful, then earlier)

Sounds right, but I'd bump ME:A2 up to 2021. I think Anthem is going to suck up a lot of talent in it's first couple of years.

If there is another main ME game that isn't a 'MEA2':
1)Then they really really really would be better to have DLC for MEA that largely resolves the highly suggested story arcs or else you directly risk having a highly bitter fanbase for years.
2)A 'ME4/5/whatever' will probably still piggyback off of whatever developments MEA had, and incorporate ideas intended more for a MEA2, anyway. Like DAI used DA2/scrapped expansion.
