I was wondering what the community would think about a new unique Remnant only map being added, with an Architect spawning in either wave 6 instead of an objective or wave 7 having to defeat it instead of extracting?

Yeah, they'd probably have to open another room in reality, but still, would like BW to add these guys in somewhere, somehow.

This reminds me of when we got the Retaliation trailer for ME3MP back in the day. At the end of the trailer, you saw Harbinger land on the Dagger Hazard map, and we all thought it was gameplay and that having to fight a Reaper was going to be the hazard for that map. You know, survive the death ray until extraction or something. If only.
Also, yes, do it NAO.

Could be fun, sure. They'll need a hefty buff, though. And smaller units to keep you running from cover to cover. Upon returning to SP after MP, they seem laughably easy, even on Insanity mode.

Sound like another annoying bullet sponge to shoot at without much difficulty. Sure different types of enemies makes things more interesting but, these particular enemies were designed for SP. The design intent seems more like 90's console game bosses. All you had to do was memorize the pattern that they followed and then do your appropriate pattern of moves to defeat it. Not really interesting at all even in SP.

Voted other. Here's why:
There's no way they will put them in.
1) it's a good idea, so it won't be followed through with.
2) if they did put it in, they'd fuck it up in some way.
3) the devs already said they toyed with the idea followed by a no comment and this was before 1.09. So if they played with the idea, then gave us Progenitors, we get Progenitors.
Given their track record for following through with good ideas as well as not giving bad ones, we'll never get them.
The good idea that won't happen:
Architect as objective wave. Only target, only enemy, minus when they "make some friends." Friends can include Destroyer(s) and possibly a Progenitor at higher levels and more spawns than sp. Legs can be finished off in one set, rather than two as in sp.

Sounds like high dragon from daimp which was pretty cool. This gave me an idea that could include all factions and have an Architect as a final boss. The scenario could be that the Kett have some how taken control of an Architect and brought to one of the bases (the map). The Outlaws have found the base and have stormed it to try and take the Architect for themselves. So the base could be broken up into four sections (similar to DAIMP castle). Waves 1 & 2 in section 1 majority of the enemies would be the Outlaws with a few Kett mixed in. Waves 3 & 4 in section 2 with more of a 50/50 split between the Outlaws and Kett. Waves 5 & 6 in section 3 would be the opposite of section 1. Finally wave 7 would be in section 4 would be where the Architect would be being held, going crazy spewing out Remnant and some Outlaws and Kett advanced units added for good measure. Waves 2, 4 & 6'could have objectives to advance to the next section. TL;DR. Outlaws attacking a Kett base with an Architect as a final boss and you fighting your way through the madness.

Definitely. I'd like to see a different sort of map implemented in the future. One where you have to fight through one large map to a final objective...basically a series of maps...maybe fighting through a series of narrow canyons or caverns that open up into a large area for the final wave. Architect would make a nice final boss. Shuttle wouldn't be able to land until the Architect is defeated. Maybe award bonus credits for completing in a fast time.
