In my first playthrough with a male Ryder, he wore white armor from the very beginning. I've done New Game+ every playthrough since, and since the second playthrough as a female Ryder, the default armor has started as black/red. Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix? I prefer my Ryder to have all white, as the cutscene at the first monolith gives her black armor with a white helmet - just looks weird.

The color of the armor in the beginning in NG+ depends on the color you chose for the armor in your very last save in the previous playthrough. I make all the armor white before I make my last save so that I don't have the mismatched armor colors in that final sequence.

My twin's outfit was black the first playthrough when I did a customized appearance - default was white. So when I switched genders on my second playthrough, default started being black for everything. Very frustrating that this is even a thing.

I've never done an NG+, that kind of excites me. Try it. The only thing that doesn't carry over into new game plus is the Nexus stuff.

For sake of immersing myself in the story, I switch the casual attire of Ryder back to the default initiative clothing with default colors so Ryder doesn't wake up from cryo wearing a leather jacket.

Strange. My Ryders have always defaulted back to white and blue short sleeve outfit. Never had the outfit or colors carry over. It's just the damn armor. First play through my male Ryder had white armor, but his customized twin had black on - default twin had white, but at the time I didn't like the default. I should add I'm playing on PS4 Pro, if that changes anything. Strange that black is even an option for the prologue, considering the helmet changes to white in that certain cut scene.
