Watching the ps4 footage i got a dai vibe from it
New camera angles- didnt feel like a shooter
In trespasser we had forming bridges
Vault -feels like a dungeon (valamar)
Now i played a little bit of me2 and gameplay seemed vastly different from what i saw on ps4

We haven't really been shown anything "in game." As for your specific concerns... We might be able to control how far out the camera goes, or it may adjust to the more traditional view during combat. They may also have pulled it back to simply show us the scope. What we get may not be what we saw. It's too soon to say. Forming bridges... that's really a gripe? It's a space fantasy. I expect to encounter new things I haven't before in an ME game. As for the vault, we really didn't see enough of it, but ME2 was no different from what I saw. You're in a place and need to get from Point A to Point B. *shrugs*

Besides the fact that most of these similarities are entirely superficial (and based solely on a minute of actual gameplay), you have to bear a few things in mind: - The two games use the same engine, so expect the camera to feel similar (you actually might notice how a lot of Unreal-based shooters have a similar floaty feel)
- We didn't see any combat, so of course we won't see the distinctions (the camera might pull in during combat for example). In fact, I remember a number of complaints that ME3's camera was too close, so this might have been a crowd-pleasing move on BioWare's part
- ME:A is, to a much greater degree than ME2, an exploration game, so It should play differently. The effect of this shift is that we're going to see a lot more exploration tropes like dungeons and platforming. If that's similar to DA:I, that's merely a product of the greater thematic similarity between the two games, not necessarily an agenda to homogenize their mechanics.
However, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see a number of DA:I's mechanics make an appearance in ME:A. They're made by the same developer on the same engine. Sharing is just economical. What I would hope is that DA:I's overall design philosophy isn't carried over. It probably will be given what we know of ME:A already, but I can still hope.

DAI camera actually pulls out during combat. ME1 camera was about like that when you 'walked around' and zoomed in over shoulder when you pulled weapons out for combat.
The only thing that video showcased was that you can vault over cover with out going into cover when your out of combat which is nice and showed us the jump pack and that people talk.
The game is gonna play like a Mass Effect game. Probably closer to ME1 in style with ME3 combat (all be it, advanced with a new engine). Combat isn't going to be anything like DAI, regardless of what we where showed so far.

I just see a lot of trespasser influence including the fliating globes

Commonality of engines.
Let's hope their experience with Frostbite in DAI helps them get it right for MEA.
Especially a better PC port than DAI.

I just want it to not be to slow. If I can't Biotic charge and shotgun somethings face off effectively I'll be disappointed. They've mentioned Biotic charge before so pretty sure it's in. They've also mentioned it's still a cover shooter at heart so... yeah I dunno. Charge + shotgun all I want, everything else is secondary.

I keep getting the vibe that they're trying to make this the game they originally wanted Mass Effect 1 to be but fell short on in the exploration aspect. If they succeed at that we'll see when the game comes out.
As others have said the cutscene was heavily modded so as to not spoil anything and was just a tech demo to show off some fancy new tech they have for the PS4.
Plus the engine being the same, but I'm thinking given that Frostbite was originally developed by the people who make Battlefield that it'll be better suited to Mass Effect than Dragon Age. I think Dragon Age just had to use it because EA wants to use their own engine for everything now more so than it had any decent merits for a RPG.

Until actual combat or real gameplay is shown I won't say but like anything, even from the small snippet that was shown I can't really say I liked or hated what I saw
As far as taking things from Inquisition? Not really a bad thing since imo Inquisition was a good game aside from an overtly neutral & monotone PC, hopefully Ryder is less restrained than the Inquisitor

I think the engine was well suited for any kind of rpg
Is it pre alpha/spliced footage?
With no me3 experience how much Rpg Elements were there compared to dai such as puzzles I'm getting a away team trek vibe
Has to be valid reasons why they introduced jet packs and climbing

I keep getting the vibe that they're trying to make this the game they originally wanted Mass Effect 1 to be but fell short on in the exploration aspect. If they succeed at that we'll see when the game comes out. I know it's sacrilegious to insult the Mako but that thing really annoyed me and was a major reason that the exploration in ME1 was such a grind. With what we've seen of Andromeda's Mako it should at the very least be faster and that is certainly a step in the right direction. Another major fall back of the original game was there were like 4 base configurations. Mass Effect 2 did a better job of this but there was still something missing. ME3 had the best layouts but exploration was horrible in that game. My big concern is how they're going to do the Remnant Vaults. Those are in serious jeopardy of all being the same with just a few minor changes here or there (basically the ending of ME3 and nobody wants that). Anyway here's hoping the exploration is awesome in MEA.

Hunter : I wouldn't say the Mako is sacrilege, I just think it's the thing people point at and go 'it's why its bad' when its not. It sure as hell didn't help what was there that's for sure. But it wasn't 'the problem'. It was just the awkwardly driving thing that made the real issues shine more crappily. Like you said there was 2 base types, 1 or 2 cave types and that was about it. Was always 1 on every area for no good reason other then to have it. Wasn't anything else beyond 'collectibles' pretending to be a mission (that you don't pick up from ANYWHERE, it just exists). Add to that the 'Simon Says' mineral gathering for no reason other then, again, collecting stuff aaand yeah. It all felt pointless and uninspired, sadly. Mako was just a kinda awkwardly controlling, semi-slow to start vehicle that kept us from having to 'walk' all that crap. Mako looking faster and funner is nice to see. But if those maps aren't designed with fun driving in mind it wont help to much. I have faith they wont re-do ME1 style planets though. -edited for clarity who I was responding too-

Tried it, prefer 3rd person There's actually a mod for that (that ones links to the one for the Pre Sequel, but every entry has one). It only changes the camera perspective though, so if you care more about TPS conventions (like cover and such), then it won't really help you there. Otherwise, it's fairly robust. The recent Deus Ex games are actually closer to RPG shooters with the feel of a 3rd person game. It's first person until you get into cover.

I have watched the recent PS4 pro video or whatever and it does seem like they have taken a few influences from DA:I which is good in my opinion. I like the fact of having to scan/research defeated enemies to find their weaknesses which would make more sense if we have never encountered them before. It looks amazing so far.
The only thing I'm worried about is it seems to be a bit hand holdy with the arrows indicating where you can climb and stuff and I really hate that stuff. I can already see the having to hold down the triangle button to do stuff is gonna get annoying real fast. Other than that it looks good.

We don't actually know if we scan dead enemies (do we? may of missed that information). Hell I hadn't even considered that even after that demonstration. Now your making me hope we actually do. Personally I hope that scan function replaces the 'ground-ping' search function from DAI. Spamming that was a giant pain in the ass, especially on a controller. Agreed on the hand-holdy but then ME2/3 had that too. They had a interface option to turn them off (which I did), hopefully they keep the options to turn them off. Most third person games do let you do that after all. Kinda an industry standard for all that nonsense.
