I don't like the fact that making your character black increases the difficulty level. Why? It doesn't affect combat. Perfectly reasonable satire to me. I don't think it actually does anything, nobody I know of has actually reported anything really changing, pretty sure it was just a joke making fun of the idea of privilege based on skin colour. |

I'm enjoying it but not quite as much as the first game.
If the Stick of Truth was a B+, the Fractured But Whole is a B- (or a C+)
The plot isn't quite as inventive (so far).
Maybe that will change...

Doesn't feel like Fire Emblem at all, more like Banner Saga or an old school JRPG. That said, I miss the Earthbound, Paper Mario esque combat from Stick of Truth. |

I watched hours of the gameplay and while the humor spouts here and there, certain themes began to dull and grate as the hours march on; what, this again? zzzzz
I think it's a bit too long and drags sometimes.

One thing I am really disappointed about is the fact that there is a storage unit in the U-Haul area that contains props and memorabilia from classic broadway plays but there are no cheeky references to Book of Mormon. Missed opportunity.
