There is no implication that there is still a MEA team from the verbiage of this survey.
For one, as has been noted by a couple of you, the first two questions (and likely the entire first portion of the survey) are identical to a previous survey given nearer to release. That might indicate a cut and paste.
Second, the MEA team wasn't fired. Most of them however have been reallocated to different studios. That said, they are forever the team that made MEA, and so by extension the team should appreciate the feedback to their product. Just because they moved on doesn't mean they weren't the team that made it.
People are the ultimate RNG, and they are trying to grind us.

Preordered Deluxe PS4 edition. Shortly after the game first released, I got the exact same 2-question survey via email. Answered it. Never asked me MP stuff. Fast forward to today - I received this survey AGAIN. Answered the questions, then got the 5 questions about MP packs. Make of that what you will. Mmph. I got the same kind of survey about ME3MP at the 6 or 7 month mark of ME3. "Would I recommend the game? Hey! Whaddabout MP?!" Personally, I think the ME3MP was a surprise to EA/BW in how successful it was. That EA/BW isn't seeing the same amount of buy-in to the MEAMP is probably surprising to them...not sure why, considering the rocky start that Titanfall 2 had. |

I got it and answered as negatively as possible, while not selecting all of the lowest to indicate a bias.
I despise microtransactions and this felt like a questionnaire about how they could put more in...
the text box though, that was...the most satisfying paragraph I've ever written, even if it doesn't matter in the long run.
That said, it's possible that the survey is based on a number of factors we don't know about, like player location or game completion or MP participation...it certainly isn't about what edition you bought or preorder nonsense because I waited for a price drop before I bought mine. I don't play the MP, but I did give it a try once...

I think it is if you pre-ordered the collectors edition -or is that the digital deluxe now  -No matter.  That they send you the survey. I only got the Standard edition and have yet to receive such a survey. Yep. I like it when EA keeps it stupid mouth shut.  Nope. Digital Deluxe, no survey in sight. Nah, I got the digital deluxe edition and received no survey. Same.  I never get surveys, except when Comcast wants to ask me how their service is. Fixed. Nah, I got the digital deluxe edition and received no survey. Ok. Maybe I just thinking too much into it then. Wonder if anyone who just got the standard edition also received surveys? If so -it is just a crapshoot. |

I just had a flash that the questions about MP might have something to do with Anthem as well. Granted they have apparently asked these questions before but if their Bob Dylan of games is going to be MP and is going to have the same sort of system in place as currently is used by MEAMP and that system isn't getting lots of transactions, I'd damn well want to consider that going in. I don't know how well their MPs generally do. I don't play them. But everything that transpired around MEA might have them being a bit more focused on potential as well as actuality. BW isn't really known for MP stuff aside from ME3MP which from what I experienced and have read in the MP forum, MEAMP isn't really as loved as ME3MP. But that's just from bits I've gleaned. If accurate, could make anthem a lemon as it's not even catering to their actual fan base.

Lots of questions about micro-transactions for MP. I tried to make it as clear as possible that I have a) never played Andromeda MP, never plan to play MP, and c)will not spend a single penny for good "loot" in MP. |
