Finished the Ghost challenge

Yeah, after challenges, the game boils down to just a few guns, really... :.(

The ghost is a gun that seems tailor made for a turian havoc, except for the part where Bioware forgot to give it damage.

Do yourself a favor and play them out (last 10% or so) while soloing Bronze: after 80 - 90% Challenge completion by normal you have earned your keep, I think.

I have yet to do Sniper Rifles but have taken a wee break, mainly because of Platinum...

I'd laugh if they buff it this week now.

You're absolutely right about that. I do find it challenging to make a meh-ish gun work on Platinum, but it's not always possible.

On the other hand, I don't really get why people love the Hurricane so much

I'm on that Rozerad train, its the superior weapon. Outclasses the Hurricane in everything but a measly 25 RPM difference.

I have a Rozerad Concussive II and a Rozerad Siphon I (praise RNG!)....meanwhile I have a Hurricane III (my lowest UR).

So the choice is easy for me.

If you don't have the pistol targeting system mod yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. It takes the Rozerad to the next level with pinpoint accuracy.
It is awesome. I have it at Rank IX and it adds +57% accuracy sans scope.

My Hurricane is at VII and my Rozerad at IX. But my targeting system is at I or II. Grinding for Mission Funds for the common mods takes it's time, and I'm always saving up for next Thursday.

But I keep it in mind! Ofcourse the Hurricane would benefit from the mod too, but since that one pretty much also requires the clipsize mod and the damage mod...

I got pretty lucky with my targeting. I got it rank VIII with the 2,200 mission funds I had. I've spent another 1,000+ MF and added 1 rank to it.

Hurricane is the best gun in the game. Rozerad is not too far behind but the speed of the game and insta-925 ROF of the durpicane makes it better than the rosy which needs to spool up. That's really the bottom line.

Kishock is second to hurricane (potential 21K per shot on cloaked infiltrator is just crazy) and dhan 3rd. All three serve different rolls and are very good. I'd put ushior, shadow and paw next. Paw is not better than quite a few other guns but it serves a purpose when you aren't using any of the aforementioned weapons...ushior is great for precision as the dhan isn't hitscan.

I honestly don't think there is ever a reason outside of variety to not use these 6 guns--- maybe a pihrana--depending on their rank.

I will admit the larger clip and the new pistol in scoped stability mod has bridged the gap between the rosy and durpicane. Hurricane is still god mode with a 40 round clip, barrel x and stability V (where I have it). Rosy does a little more damage to shields too.

The pace at which I play requires insta-925 all day. Rozerad is a great gun but probably more suited for a little less aggression. Hurricane is also more accurate still.

I will say that platinum also has more bullet sponges so the spool up time isn't as bad as it used to be...

Definitely closer than they once were and it's not like you can stand out of cover and just tank stuff though...

Just a question though:

Is Rozerad pronounced as "Rose-rad" or as "Rose-uh-rad"? Or maybe "Rosey-rad"?
