As I'm being lectured by Lexi for allowing SAM to kill ryder I always feel like exaltation would have been preferable for her. Perhaps so they could try to rescue ryder and she could then study ryder as a living exalted from both a physical and biological perspective. That conversation always feels stupid to me.
Aksul missing Jaal at pretty much a point blank range. I always wonder about that, and have concluded it's a piece of garbage gun with zero stability, zero aiming ability, and perhaps is the reason why the angara are using avengers in the mission to rescue the moshea. Actually, since Jaal is also using a kett rifle and the angara he was talking with before you meet him at the resistance says his gun is the best, I've deduced that angara weapons in general aren't that good, even to the angarans. I mean avengers? Really? I now see why the archon has such an easy time of it.

Pretty sure that whole convo with Lexi was more about her being worried that an AI has that level of control over Ryder's physiology, than her wanting to study Kett.

I just get the impression that Lexi is of the view the stopping the heart at any time risks not being able to restart it... even for an AI as smart as SAM.
As for Aksul missing Jaal... my take on this is that Jaal knows Aksul would never actually kill him (for whatever reason is buried in the past between them)... so very likely that Aksul either consciously or subconsciously pulled the shot to the left. I also think it is just the angara way to use whatever weapons and equipment they can generally take of their enemies rather than manufacture their own. They seem more focused on manufacturing nutrient paste to feed their population even when they have minimal viable land on which to grow things. We don't really see any sign of Angara mining or other forms of industrial activities. The avengers were probably scrounged from earlier skirmishes with exiles (perhaps those killing off yevara for the angaran doctor (The Lost Song quest).

Aksuuls hand was trembling during that scene.

Any random thoughts I have during my playthoughs are generally not on the game I'm playing unless my strict attention is required. My thoughts tend to range from movies, TV shows, comics, politics, professional wrestling, comments on various message boards that I belong too, other games, personal stuff, and so on.

I got the impression that Lexi was simply venting since she was worried and frustrated about the level of control the SAM implant has over Ryder's body, and is largely powerless to do anything about it.

You don't think Aksul missed on purpose? I'm not gonna lie... The way the scene goes slo-mo, I honestly thought Jaal performed some Matrix bullet-time dodge and moved two inches to the left...
