New Gold APEX on Nimbus - Interesting modifiers

Just chalk it up to Boiwera math from the school of dyslexia.

I just finished the mission. Fun stuff but I brought a krogan vanguard with a Crusader. All of the speed penalties made it feel like Operation: Molasses. It was fine once I got used to it though and was playing with a good PUG team. I love the 11 wave format with objectives every other wave and the payout is great.

8/10 would bang again.

Human Infiltrator with Shadow = Walk in the park. Just gives more time to aim for that headshot

Yep, for me it like every second time when HS not working. So with shadow it's pretty easy to stop the beam and choose other target or give another try after couple of moments.

Fun mission. Less stressful than a normal Platinum mission, and you can take any character you want. Went in with a Human Kineticist and Krogan Gladiator, my two UR characters that have been left behind on my regular Platinum runs. Was fun to pull/throw and hammer everything.

Enjoyed the map too, but figuring out what level the devices are on can be challenging. I can see the timer running out real quick if your team isn’t fast enough or you get bitten by a Wraith as you’re disarming.

Just re-upping this. The short Strike Team duration may have been connected to the fast refresh rate.

Unfortunately, doing this with a team of random pubs can easily cause the mission to fail (usually on one of the Hack tasks) or take 30+ minutes because they're bringing power-type kits into a clearly anti-power mission. I could farm credits more quickly in FB Zero. :/

At least the frequent task waves makes it more interesting (and profitable) than the dull survival-heavy missions.

Did it twice on my Kineticist. Took one of the furthest platforms and struck against the non-armoured units then Pull and Threw them off the platform behind/around me. As I am also in a flanking position of most enemies I can then repeat on the process of removing enemy shields and then pull/throw or pull/lance (Kineticist XV has enough power behind it to kill Red Bars on Gold even with a reduction) on enemies that the main group is in a fire fight with.

Powers is fine I would say, so long as you're not trying to kill solely via powers.

Same. Both times, it crashed my app, but then was done immediately.

I was ultimately able to complete it 4 times, full MF awarded each time.

Can't get through an engineering degree or graduate level pchem without being able to do some basic algebra

Played the mission twice today with mighty havoc with revenant. First one was a painful wipe on wave 10 hack at around 26 minutes, had about 80% done, it was essentially a duo with some human sentinel pug. We had no infiltrators and some krogan vanguard who was dying all over the place and some salarian with 25K Apex who was hiding in corners all the time and not using any consumables. And I had only 2 thermal clips, forgot to buy supply pack. Second time went very smoothly with two infiltrators, something around 20-22 minutes, no issues. There was some pug named Revan something whom I know well because we played a bunch of ME3 multiplayer.

I actually liked it, I wish these 11-wave missions were regularly available without kinky modifiers and with normal random objectives provided that they give regular objective gold, meaning something around 80-90K or so. It is less stressful than platinum and possible to use any class.

I played this last night.
Played shadow Turian Agent... so I felt like I am bit cheating.

Full extraction, little bit more than 20 minutes...

but the last hack mission was really hard.
I didn`t die.. but I could see constantly charging Annoint and Wraith were out of control.

It was fun but still too long a game for me.
I will stick to regular gold games.. but everyone should definitely try this map and Apex mission.

The map feels more interesting than others.
