I would take any of those Republicans more than him. He's not even that Republican. Or at all really. For example, they were all free market types.. and he wants to slap tariffs on people. All in the name of nationalism. One has to give way..You can't truly be both. Maybe that's my unpopular opinion: Donald Trump isn't even a Republican. I'm a nationalist and find Globalism gross. So go Trump, Farage and European leaders who are against EU autocracy and globalists! I think it's the only good thing these Democrats and Repubs have in common. It's the ONLY thing that keeps America valued and perceived fairly well.. when it can spread capitalism, opportunity, and mass media across the globe. The thing I hate is our wars or trying to spread democracy by force. That's disastrous, every time. And as for nationalists and tariffs, all that means is everyone else ends up doing it too. Bunch of nations spiting each other. No one wins. America isn't the only one who would do it, where everyone suddenly goes along with it. That's a fantasy.

I don't get the anti-globalization movement. It does have its negatives (exploitation of cheap labor for example), but those are tremendously outweighed by the positives.

Our shoes and cloth industry might win when there is enough tariffs on Chinese or South East Asian clothes!
Or businesses should get destroyed and people should just get fired and live on welfare? So many countries will turn into the land of agricultural, commercial and governmental jobs. Everyone else with different kind of job is screwed.

I don't get the anti-globalization movement. It does have its negatives (exploitation of cheap labor for example), but those are tremendously outweighed by the positives. It comes down to fear of the unknown, or probably more accurately, fear of change. It's at the heart of arch-conservatism. Not ALL change is good. I'll be the first to admit that. But change is not inherently bad, either. Despite how it might seem, the people making the decisions that lead us to globalism are - for the most - hyper-intelligent OR taking advice from people that are. Mistakes get made, but by-and-large, civilisation moves in the right direction. And globalisation is that direction. Even with the negatives associated with it.

- Most of the mainstream Media is so politically biased that abuse truth to a very high degree. People should try alternative Media.
- "I believe that pop culture is making a big mistake by demonising the traditional family unit/relationship as a means of making alternative lifestyles feel more included." - Crusty
- I don't like Metal music (please don't assume I do!)
- I have a list of 15+ factors that make a girl not-marriageable for me!
- I prefer Juice to alcohol
- The internet and social media have been beneficial in some aspects, but by easy access to p0rn, piracy sites, making people away from books, making people not attending to their own surrounding, family and RL friends is doing a destructive role in the society.

- People who think living in 2016 is the best thing possible and having the fastest computers and 4K TVs equals heaven are idiots. Screwed Banking system, not a real economic growth since previous recession, broken communities and families, women working everywhere without caring about their children, disloyalty and fraud at grand and massive levels, idiotic movements everywhere, chaos in middle east, migrant crisis, triggered people everywhere etc. I prefer a 1950s normal western or middle eastern lifestyle (Normalcy!). And relatively 90s was a better decade than now.
- Water based power plants are good, but Wind and Solar plants suck.
- If we stop using coal, gas and oil the economy of the world falls to lower than 50% of its previous power and prosperity, and so billions will die. Global Warming and enhancing water level by few meters caused by CO2? Fine by me!
- Dollar standard is destructive, countries should return to Gold Standard
- Most of the Welfare policies are destructive for populace's psych and lifestyle and also for the economy. Why do you produce so much debt for the future generations to deal with them? It's therefore immoral too.

I find spanking a kid as discipline to be quite illogical and ineffective. Fortunately when my parents attempted to spank me as a toddler, I laughed. It was a perfect reaction to a silly tradition.

Power Metal from back in the early 80's is about as heavy as I get. - Bitch please, I have so many it'd make your head spin! - I'm getting there, if only because I'm taking advantage of a recent health crisis to clean up my lifestyle. I still drink, and still love alcohol, but I'm cutting back immensely. - I don't see the issue with that as other people do. I keep track of my day to day affairs, work, and exercise routine, and I keep in touch with the people I care to keep in touch with. To me, family is just the people who you happen to have a penis/vagina in common with somewhere down the line; I do think people put too much emphasis on familial relationships, but that's my unpopular opinion. I came from a military family (and am/was military myself) and it wasn't unusual for me to not see either mom or dad for 6+ months at a time. Military families are inevitably going to be relatively distant, especially when both are at sea for 6 months.

I agree here. All of this 'kids should draw pictures to express their feelings' nonsense is ridiculous. Spanking shouldn't be considered abuse. I'm almost entirely against corporal punishment of any form.

I do believe there is something to a person's astrology sign and natal chart. Not that predicts events, but it gives insight to a person's personality. Trust me, there is absolutely nothing about huge balls of rock, liquid, gas, and nuclear fusion reactions billions or trillions of miles (lightyears/parsecs even) away from Earth that affects the financial, sexual, emotional, and employment situations of myself, an individual carbon-based life form on one specific planet. Absolutely nothing. We can agree on that, I'm not convinced they would. I am saying that there is something to the time of birth thing though and how I handle myself around other people will depend on their astrology sign.

I can easily see how it's degenerate but ultimately it's just a new technology utilised for a specific purpose that doesn't harm others. It could be good as a means of stress relief or recreate fantasies in a safe environment.
