I haven't seen any of the protests myself, nor the inauguration, just so damn sick of the orange one already, but I would have thought the 'not our president' signs in other countries is more one part solidarity and one part warning to our own governments.

The Drumph can't affect civil rights here - or anywhere - other than the US, so they likely are just showing support for those who have no protection from him.

He can try to put pressure on other governments, though, so that is where the warning to governments part comes in.  I imagine most other countries don't have ridiculous restrictions or barriers to legitimate voting the way the US does, so the distaste for him and his particular brand of hateful stupidity will quickly lead to voter backlash if governments play ball with him too easily.

Just a hypothesis, though.  As long as we're all alive to see it, the next 4 years could be interesting.

Judging by his tweets it means to "leave him alone, stop being unfair" and "stop being haters and losers"....

Matt, you're great, but here's the catch...with who he has supporting him and knowing how much he plays to the media, the media he is slowly discrediting and denying access for, you have to be ever vigilent. You can sit there and say 'give him a chance'. but he's seems to be well schooled in the spreading of propaganda and if the other remaining democratic nations also keep voicing their opinions, them maybe he'll realize his propaganda isn't going to work. Don't let your guard down and school yourself on how to recognize danger signs.

I'm not suggesting we let our guard down.  Not in the least.

But I am saying, don't hate him just because he's President Trump.  Don't fight every policy he puts forward, just because he's President Trump.

Fight any policy/bill he puts forward that you don't like.  But don't instantly hate something, just because he suggests it.

I enjoyed R1 more than the prequels and Force Awakens, so it's alright with me.

Definitely on the Micheal Bay side. Supposedly they re-filmed a bunch of scenes because it was complete and total ass. 

I look it up sometimes. But it all sounds like shit.
