Kro-Guard gold solo

Thanks for the response.   I was just curious as I recently have re-visited this character.   I currently only have the Kro-Guard to X, so I imagine at XX, a power based build could be more viable.  At first I had specced Nova and didn't even spec Fortify; I really dislike the movement speed penalty. But, I realize it's really needed for higher difficulties.

Since Nova isn't really used, and the damage from Charge and Fortify being nominal, I agree that having Apex 6A is the way to go.  I went 4B as well, as I am focused on Melee. 

I had 6A for Charge prior, but honestly, you just feel too squishy on gold.  So, I re-specced after this thread, and looking at a little more information, and am currently going with 6B.

I decided to switch Rage 4A to 4B, going for a more melee based build.   Granted, this gives me less HP and Shields, but that's why you need Charge 6B; in that you get the 5 seconds of 75DR.    I found myself constantly needing to charge to keep up my shields on Gold, and even with Stormtrooper; you likely are back to 0 Shields if you Charge into a group of enemies; hence why I feel 6B works better (despite the lower shields compared to other Charge based characters).   I'd rather keep up my DR so I can headbutt for days.  Then, when the DR bonus is over, I can Charge again, and repeat.
