Not sure if anyone else noticed but the website www.masseffect.com/ now shows the url in the tab and some news are deleted/hidden www.masseffect.com/news. Maybe it's just me?, it's been like that for like 3 days. Google Chrome Version 60.0.3112.78 (Official Build) (64-bit)

What is missing? Full website pulls up for me. Can see graphics and everything. The only thing I noticed was no mention of patch 1.09.

So you have uninstalled ME:A or Origin or both? I can only have one game installed at a time with Origin now. Not to mention my slow internet speed which means I will have to keep it installed. Not spending weeks to re-download the game and likely go through this all over again. Though in the end it is not a bad thing though -I got plenty of hard drive space -four 2 TB hard drives now.

I had bought a new computer just for MEA but it doesn't have as much space on the hard drive as I'd liked. Since the computer I played ME1 on was AMD, I had those horrible block glitches at Peak 15 and Ilos. Wanted to play ME1 on the new PC and it was fine. But then I was disappointed in MEA. Did two full playthroughs and a partial third. Decided that it was easier to have the OT on one computer and so made the decision to remove MEA until I found a reason to reinstall it. Still waiting. I also have a slow internet connection. It's a huge reason why I don't do MP. The decision to have MP as a focus also doesn't make me happy.

There's this tendency in apartment buildings in NYC to have shitty internet. It can range from slow to random drops. Also, it's worse in some rooms than others and my bedroom happens to be a terrible spot for internet. I will sometimes use my mobile phone's internet for my computer just for basic stuff (not video or MP, both of which would eat up my 8 GB data sharing per month). It's good enough for the Origin connection so that I can play ME2, ME3 and MEA but not for MP. So I won't be playing MP or Anthem and until I see dlc this game is on the back burner. I did enjoy it, but I love the OT.

I miss my baseball teams. I miss the four seasons. i don't miss the state taxes. I don't miss grocery shopping there. I don't miss shoveling snow off the driveway. I do miss being a New Yorker. Texas is great but I'm done with this heat.

Texas is great but I'm done with this heat. Never really thought about a booster since I've done so little online gaming. My past experiences with MP weren't usually fun. Not a fan of PKing, and I would encounter it often enough when too weak to defend myself that I just lost interest. It's why I prefer to play my games when it's just me or, at best, one other person (back in the days when I owned a console and played against friends). When I play games, I'm just trying to enjoy myself. Not very competitive and if you don't have a lot of drive you're probably never going to be anyone's favorite teammate. Though, I have been recently playing a telnet game that I first discovered in the late 90s. Back then, it was heavily populated, but largely friendly. These days it's pretty empty but still friendly. The friendly part is what I'm looking for. New York is okay. I don't have to shovel anything where I live unless I happen to be visiting my parents a bit further north during a snowstorm. Which happens at times. I'm not sure how I'd feel about Texas but I have lived in Phoenix so it's probably similar.

Which happens at times. I'm not sure how I'd feel about Texas but I have lived in Phoenix so it's probably similar. I would try a booster and when Anthem comes out, you and I need to practice together. I'm EXACTLY like you in describing multiplayer experience. Texas is hot for nine months. Three months are cold with maybe a week in the low 20s... that's it. Texas is so damn big though. North Texas has crazy weather for about three months, but like Central Texas... it's hot. High 80s and regularly in the 90s even at night. The sun is down and it's still freakin' hot. South Texas... that's 11 months of this hot. East Texas... 8 months of hot, but all of it humid as hell. Step out the front door after showering and you're sweaty. I know the ups and down of NY weather. However, it's seasonal. Every three months, NYC is reborn. I miss that. My sister and brother and their families still live in upstate NY. Everytime I visit, those Catskills mountains are always more beautiful than the last time I saw them. We have zero mountains here. West Texas has a mountain... it's a freakin' hill. I know Giuliani really cleaned up 42nd St. Holy cow... I felt like I was in Disney New York. It's changed that much. I miss going to the museums. The Witte here is small potatoes. I've gone twice in two decades living here. I used to go once a month during the summers I stayed with Dad while he worked in the garment district. Great, great times. I was so innocent and naive, but I had a million angels covering my back. If it wasn't some Asian mom telling me to slow down on my bike, it was the black grandmother sitting by the window sill reminding me not forget my coat or umbrella. If it wasn't some Italian cop telling me I was headed for trouble, it was the German tour guide telling me to wait my turn on questions. NYC has its issues, but you're living in the greatest city in the entire world. That's my humble opinion. Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Long Island... that's where Dad planted his roots after arriving from the Freedom Flights out of Cuba. He didn't stay in Miami (another great city where I have family). No... he went to Boston through Catholic Charities and left for NY where I was born when he got hired down in the city.

Cyan_Griffonclaw: I also lived in Miami Beach! I bounced around the country a bit in my 20s. I've been in NYC for about 10 years now. I don't know that I want to retire here. Can't imagine climbing the steps of subway stations or apartment buildings in 20 years from now. I suppose we can talk about Anthem when it comes closer to being a reality. Perhaps if they offer a free trial I'll give that a shot.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but the website www.masseffect.com/ now shows the url in the tab and some news are deleted/hidden www.masseffect.com/news. Maybe it's just me?, it's been like that for like 3 days. Google Chrome Version 60.0.3112.78 (Official Build) (64-bit) Honestly, I've given up on Chrome. It used to be lightweight but it's gotten extremely bloated. Firefox, which had also gotten bloated up in the past, now outstrips it. I'd use Edge but, eh, it's still got Microsoft issues.

Cyan_Griffonclaw : I also lived in Miami Beach! Alright! Oh yeah... Calle Ocho and Coral Gables. The Lebanese and Cuban side of the clan live there. I know... what a mix. All the hair and anger. Woof. Reunions with them are fun and exhausting.
