Looks lik jasl is more interested in vetra than you! XD
Jaal is interested in everyone more than he is Ryder.
Stood on the ship pad to see if itd take me to space. But it tilted just so and slid me off. Lol. I stood on top of a little shuttle on Eos to see what would happen. It lifted me up for a little while, but then I teleported back down to the ground Maybe it was the same troll of a shuttle pilot.
Be careful - I once had a shuttle land on me and I died.
Jiminy-- pretty sure we just built that Tranceiver Booster considering it was just in boxes 30 seconds ago. My first challenge is this Kett Stronghold. 45 minutes later--- This is so annoying. I've reset the damn shields three times. Then I got through the security just so they could kill me there. and I'm BACK before the shield overload?!!!! *proceeds to run and jump through punching things to death*
The kett base on Eos is my least favorite mission, I think. The place is massive, markers get mixed up between reinforcements and shields. SAM's directions aren't helpful at all. If you don't kill every single thing the first time, every enemy outside (including the turrets) resets and you have to kill them all again, whether you are leaving or coming back. Ugh, hate it. Killing that bastard Invictor feels good though.
I died way less than the kett stronghold. And I actually enjoyed myself. Although, why Jaals first reaction to it "dying" being that I should interface with it was really strange. And then. Is just flew away.
Don't forget to raid the goodie box it leaves behind. And take a look at the planet next time you leave to go somewhere else.

I meant both plus you gotta learn how to take cover at the right time. I'm trying I'm trying. I've wasted points on skills that don't work with my play style. This game isn't very friendly to stealth or sniping, which really throws me off after playing Horizon Zero Dawn. Apparently I'm supposed o be running round spamming an assault rifle. That's not natural to me. Yeah Bioware still has a lot to learn when it comes to open world. I'd say stick what fits you for now but try to use cover more.

I don't approve of the Strike Teams needing an internet connection. I'm living in a hotel that makes you log in every 30 minutes to ten hours. It's totally random. And for some reason windowing out of MEA, it never goes back to full screen.
And if it's like this for me, does that mean folks with no internet just can't utilize them at all?

I have a lot of thoughts about the various side missions. but for the most part. They're done well, with audio to try to tug your heart strings and get yourself attached to the most menial of tasks.
I'm at the Nexus to finish up some things before I go do more Angaran stuff.

smilesja I got Pathfinder gear for chest and head, but then ran out of cadmium or... Uranium. Can't remember which. Neither seem to be common. Or did you mean a skills defense? Put points into cloak. Depending on which ones are chosen, the player can regain some health when activating cloak

"Haven't thawed out many lawyers yet. May be some irony in there." On the fence on the Nilken Case. On one hand, attempted murder should be punished. But this is a Turian that believed so much in the Initiative's need to succeed he was willing to kill someone to save others- and save a little piece of that Initiative dream. But then I remember he rationalized murder. Hmmm. ....I'm releasing him.

Is there a bestt time in the quest line for the "Movie night"? Likee, sometimes fun things help break up a "bad day"-- or does the bad day that is in MEA make you want to hurry to the end, not take movie night? suggestions?

"Movie Night" has a lot of steps to it before you actually get to the movie part. You can do them at any time, but I like to leave the movie part until after the final mission/post-epilogue.

I switched from Infiltrator to Engineer. Still on Normal. Oh nice. A Brain washing Classroom. Wonder what Jack would have made of all this. Probably smash it. "Crazy cult shit right there." I don't understand. What is this "My vs your priority of the moshai?" "It's people!" ~Soylent Green. I totally saved the Angara and shot the cult leader. No regrets. Back on the Tempest. Moshae is snotty but sucks it up. I still don't get what she's so angry about. I won't let the facility fill back up again. I kinda wish I'd brought Vetra for the trip. I like Cora's biotics though, to balance out my sniping/smashing/sneaking. And Jaal has the same fighting style pretty much. And then I talk to Liam. And he's got so much anxious energy. He's a prime example of the energy of the Exiles. hear him mention Voeld even though we've never been... playing the game without subtitles His voice acting finally sounds like he gives a crap. He was crying out for something "familiar." And then I lingered over the heart symbol. And theeeeenn- I clicked it. Knowing I'm totally not going to stay with him. I know, I'm bad. Then I reloaded to try some other options. Did you know that you could choose heart, then not kiss? Just kind of forehead hug. That's sweet. Then I reloaded again. I'm keeping the casual spur of the moment one night stand. Felt a twinge of guilt when I hovered over keeping it a one night stand-- then I clicked it. And he laughed and said, 'this feels like more normal." haha So much better than the last one night stand I RPed (with Bull. ugh. ) I have a higher opinion of Liam. not enough to date him. But I like that history... of choosing friendship, solid, after getting to know each other intimately. Its very adult.

Flirted with Jaal some more. It made me smile. But still not feeling the "super love". Not like what I felt at first with Alistair, Anders, or Cullen.
Is it mean of me for me to want to find the Asari Ark... and it be a total mess that slaps Cora upside the head with the information that the Asari don't have it all figured out?

So, Strike Teams are War Table Missions. Cryo Pods are Advisor perks. Lexi is also a form of news with her psychological assessments. I asked the Arbitor on Aya what the laws were. She said she'd transmit the whole pile to me. Which became a codex. Guess I'll never know the laws of Aya. Anyway, I'm beat. Till next time.

You can't go shopping on Aya without knowing each and every law they have. You could end up with a lawsuit and you still haven't woken up any lawyers! I think I went barricade instead of cloak for my sniper girl who totally romanced Liam.

I think I went barricade instead of cloak for my sniper girl who totally romanced Liam. REally? How unique. I don't know whether I should read the laws, then, or treat shopping like a mini game. I haven't looked at barricade, but that sounds like standing in one place, and there are already a lot of cover spots. And no on Liam. I like the casual sex thing being...an impetuous event done post Veold. When emotions are raw about the supreme weirdness and horror that is the Kett species maintenence. And maybe, just maybe, my Ryder is beginning to feel lonely for a stronger personal connection, what with both parents dead, and Scott in a coma. But that doesn't make Liam married with babies material. Although, last night, I thought it'd be kewl to headcannon she having gotten pregnant with Liam's baby and raising it with Jaal/whoever she ends up with. Esepcially if it's the Angaran species. I had to remind myself that the ME team hang out with the same protag for years, so if when MEA2 comes out, I'd have to modify any post MEA events I'd imagined. Which brings up an interesting thing. MET, you didn't even get the same romance options each game. The fact that there are only 3 complete romances means those are most likely the only characters to be pulled over. Anyone else is likely to be ditched. I usually ship my companions with people outside of the protag if I don't want to love and huggle them myself. For Dorian in DAI, I actually decided none of my protag's were his match, and that maybe DA4 would find a good protag match for him. Wonder if I'll finish MEA with Sara thinking none of the characters were a good match, then see her blossom in MEA2.

Right now I have points in: Sniper Rifle, Tactical Cloak (max), Proximity Mine, Incinerate (almost max). and a smattering of Combat fitness and assault rifle and pistol.
Sniper Rifle and Proximity mine seem to be wasted Talents.
I switched over to Engineer because "little helper watching my back" seems to be what I needed since Cora likes to just stand there and watch dogs eat me.
Flame thrower does seem to be useful- but it finally occurs to me that they limit you to three talents? (even lower than DAI seems so absurd) So it'd be Cloak, Incinerate, and Flame thrower?

Picture Post! Part 1 A couple moments from Eos. When I read this the first time, a feeling of horror washed over me. This planet's beginnings were so dark, I honestly don't think the dialogue about it really express it. Maybe Addison's stubborn anger comes close- "Those aren't numbers, Pathfinder, they're lives." But also, this is not how radiation works. As an x ray technologist myself, it's...interesting to see how people ascribe dangers to the invisible that aren't actually there. During school, I had to write a paper about Chernoble and the nukes we dropped on Japan and three mile island. Just because that's not how it works doesn't mean I wasn't deeply touched by it anyway. This guy reminds me of someone... AHA. I thought this thought last night and just now and it took me a few minutes. You know the guy! Shepard's biggest fan! It looks almost inquisitive a moment before it goes full Dilophosaurus on us (Jurassic Park) Whether cut scene or not, they really try to show you these worlds they built for us to enjoy. No, mostly pretty shots.
