I am confused, so you got the 5 terminals in to go into the ground but the door behind doesn't open and you are dying?

The 5 terminals once they disappear that lets you into the vault (you may have to use "e" to open the door) but you mentioned a puzzle to get out is that where you are dying?

There is no puzzle to get out there is just a terminal that you have to hold "E" on to close the door and stop the cloud following you. The answer is under the spoiler tag.

Im talking about the Escape.

That video above is totally different from y experience even though I'm going the same path.

Yes, I turn round and run.

Make a right at the tree island.

Then it diverges a bit- I run into rem tech infested bubbles. In my case, I hit cloak and skip them. Until I get to the higher bubble area with the door. Except mine WILL NOT OPEN until the remtech are dead. So the cloud waits very kindly for me to do that I guess.

It then diverges very heavily. The above video shows him opening a door he didn't have to fight for (unlike me). Then running through a room to another door (I think this room is my five terminals) but he doesn't have to do crap with them. He can just open the door. But mine is locked.


So, I thought, I have to hit 5 terminals that I have to Y in a specific order. There is a pillar but I haven't seen anything on it. But even after telling five sink down, my door was still locked.

This is why YouTube hasn't helped me, my experience is very different.

Kriminy. I don't know if I should be embarrassed at my dumbness or impressed that I did all that on Hardcore several times before dropping to casual on all the repeats.

I'd burned the most efficient path into brain. Run. Turn right at Island tree. Press Y for bridge. Go right, hit gun, see remnant, hit cloak. Cloak would last until I got to the destroyed. Had no idea what those terminals did there, but would You them both and then take out the remtech. Terminal popped up for door. Gas is still in distance. Go through door. Terminal puzzle.

I learned the order of those terminals by *oh, that was the wrong one* *watches them reset as the gas overwhelms and kills her.* Several times.

And then to finally get all that to go off without a hitch and the door not open was like @_@ I just won't finish the game. This is what the developers want, for me to rage quit 75% through.

But you were right. With all the killer gas moving in, the 6 the pillar was just obscured.
