The room was soundproof, I'm sure of it. A bit late, but I'm curious, you didn't want to gun down Dr. Kennedy and her accomplice? No logical issues with that mission? Maybe it's because I received the mission and then didn't do it for like 20 hours, but why would ai have gunned them down? I was full aware of Addison's corruption post Spender and Three Sabers and I'd been giving chances to exiles all game. I assume Hawke is referring to Kennedy's extremely selfish stupidity. We may not actually have wanted to shoot her, but I surely wanted to tell her what dumbasses she and her husband are. Her selfishness put a lot of lives on the line. I know the birth of her son (I do dig the David Edward Anderson reference) strikes a positive note with many, but I am always too annoyed with the parents to find lil' David's birth touching.

I approve of the mountain climbing. Vetra gets a warm. Off to Elaaden to get Poc. Then I gotta call it a night. Massive game is massive. I half-expected you to be finished, heh. Vetra' climb was on my top twenty fav moments in the game. and, well, sounds like Jaal's romance is your thing then I was more like, "ya, I'm going to climb stuff!" But they didn't let you get control of your character that way. It's also a bummer that cheating is the only way you beat your companions- either at cards or at climbing. Can't I be lucky? Or, after 60 hours of being Pathfinder, fit enough for at least tying? I know folks also hate OP characters but... And Jaal's emails are very nice. He's a good person. That's about all I can say so far, wouldn't say it suits me.

Also, no one on the ship has ever beaten Gil at poker (Jaal being close, though). I think, it would be nice to have more interactive interactions (can't phrase it better) with companions should ME:A2 happen.

My understanding of the thing was that she was ready to make babies. Addison said no. She said, screw you, steals a bunch of spy satellites, some anti birth control, and a shuttle. She didn't injure anyone on her way out the door. She gets knocked up since her departure and is near to giving birth when we meet her. She uses the spy satellites to make sure no one has followed her, and occasionally steals the basic necessities and some weapons since they can't settle down on all these crap worlds anyway and be farmers or whatever she planned on being. Is she a jerk? Ya. But I didn't see her causing any direct death by being the same level of jerk half of the Initiative had been to me since I woke up. She's no Sloane and I didn't even let Sloane die (to my Reyes Romance regret) Edit add: I knew that name was supposed to mean something. I missed it. Thing is, I didn't play ME1. And I know they implied a heavy Father Child thing between he and Shepard at the end of ME3, but I only ever saw us as good friends that hadn't always seen eye to eye

And I know they implied a heavy Father Child thing between he and Shepard at the end of ME3, but I only ever saw us as good friends that hadn't always seen eye to eye Of course she shouldn't actually be hurt. That would be psychotic. Hawke was just using hyperbole, unless I'm grossly mistaken. Kennedy abandoned her post because she didn't want to follow the only logical course: hold off on reproduction until we can feed the people already living. Then, she stole Initiative supplies and tech, stuff that rightly belonged to our colonists. She put the Initiative at risk by scurrying about unprotected. If anyone had figured out who she is, it could've been really bad. She put the Pathfinder team directly in harm's way. Many don't think in those terms, I imagine, since our protagonist becomes a walking force of nature. Still, in real life, any combat could be your last. She put Ryder and the team at risk as a consequence of her selfishness. Basically, Kennedy is an irresponsible jackass. I can't be happy for her, in the moment, because she's an ass who put so much at risk for her immediate satisfaction. I never allow Sloane to be assassinated, either. She's a known commodity who is far less dangerous than the Collective. Reyes is a likeable guy, but I don't trust his band of criminals any further than I can throw their collecitve asses (pun intended). Sloane will govern Kadara Port. Her methods might even soften, as the Initiative presence gives her better options. The Collecitve, though... they'll spread their enterprise across the cluster. Giving them a secure home base is insane. They're every bit as brutal as Sloane's regime, and far more intelligent and ambitious. Even if you choose to trust Reyes, he could be dead tomorrow. I don't know or trust his people.

Well his emails, and his mothers' made me want to throw up, so... The mom was just being enthusiastically inclusive. The fact that all her kids are her favorite show she's just exuberant like that. I wish Jaal's first email and 2nd email had been switched in order because I found the first to be a little too strong that early on. It just made me intensely uncomfortable. The intervention into a relationship like that was too much, and Jaal himself is so syrupy sweet that I can't really take it, except for the sake of the pursuing the most plot-important romance. Anyway, at least you've liked some of it, as I said, I think it is a "must" romance in the game to see.

I love Cullen's romance in DAI and he's the fluffiest bunny you can find so that part about Jaal didn't bother me so much as the mom emails. The first one (about pie) was ok but the others were just too creepy. Everything taken as a whole made me really not enjoy it and regret I didn't romance Reyes instead that game.

I guess I haven't see the one that comes after Pie yet.
I'm working on Dissension in the Ranks. Considering it's "find area, destroy Kett" x 4, it's been pretty lack luster so far. I still like my pet, Zap.
Also, I dunno if I got a bug or something, but Car discussion hasn't happened in a while. And I've switched my team up entirely.

Ah, finally something interesting.
Primus wants to cut the foreplay and get down to the business of Exaltation. Helping him doesn't help me at all. @_@ I was thinking that this was some forced situation of joining, but it actually gives me a deal no deal choice.
I'll have to think about this.

Join with him = fewer enemies in the short term, still have to kill him at the end to delay the exaltation of this galaxy.
Don't join with him = more enemies in the short term, kill him on my way to the Archon *guessing*, then kill the Archon, delaying the exaltation of the Galaxy.
At least, that's how I'm understanding it. So, first glance is a big no. Second glance is still a No.
I can't see where I need to join with him at all. Any non spoiler reasonings folks? this seems like a pretty straight choice to me.

While trying to think of what a logical Ryder who gives Exiles/Sloane/Krogans chances to redeem and connect would do... it occurs to me that this could be a ploy to entrap me. He gives me the codes to disable his ship, I walk in some place all sneaky, and they know they were here all along. The Kett are known for being manipulative jerks, as per the Angarans, so this would be par for the course for them. So there is that.
Also, I just don't want to ally with a guy who plans on turning around to Exalt me at the first opportunity with no remorse.

Additionally, Drack says no, Cora says maybe, but I imagine if Jaal were here, he would be supremely upset if I allied with a Kett.
Yeah. 3rd glance is still a big fat no.
So, there you go Primus. You guys' infighting will just have to make up for the lack of an alliance.

Its a great mission, probably the best in my opinion. The Archie ship mission was........ok. More for the fighting then anything else. On Aya, Moose tells Ryder that Archie mentions Meridian. All of a sudden everything is put on the backburner. The priority is now to get to Archies ship. For me, my first question to Ryder is how are you going to get on his ship? Knock on the hatch telling him its pizza delivery? Of course it was dumb luck that the sslarian ship was tethered to the kett ship allowing Ryder to get onboard. After waking up the Salarian pathfinder, the kett have not detected the tempest or Ryder. They still have surprise on their side. This is where I would include all squadmates for the mission. I would also get on the holovid and ask Tann to send a strike team to their location and to bring a lot of explosives. Tann wouldn't hesitate with that request. The team shows up. Ryder's plan is for her/him, with two squadmates, locate the artifact. The other squadmates and strike team will be placing explosives throughout Archies ship When the Salarains help Ryder in that area, a couple of squadmate show up as well. Ryder continues forward while the 2 squadmates go back doing their thing. The two that helped them, then help them search for survivors. Ryder is immobilized. Archie stabs the rookie with the giant needle. Its at this point I would have Archie fire at the salarian ship, if I was him. The rest plays out the same as seen in the game except when it comes to choosing the krogan or salarian, both can be saved. With regards to that decision. I never cared about it since it was crap. Before reaching Archies room, a krogan is seen in the tank. The sam voice thing doesn't mention any other krogan onboard. When leaving the room, the sam voice thing now detects krogan. Someone, if not Drack, mentions that it could be Dracks scouts. My first playthrough I was like, what scouts. This is the first time hearing that. I would have added a third option. Ryder says **** them. Avoids all the fighting and finds a hatch nearby to exit the ship. Just before the tempest jumps to ftl, the explosives are detonated destroying Archies ship I would have it where Archie and a few of his goons escape to a shuttle before his ship goes boom. He's still able to get the information about Ryder.

Is there a different sort of surface we're talking about? What the... Why can't I smash through walls like Drack if I can smash rocks? *whole screen shifts and SAM warns us* oh, is there going to be a Cave in?!.... no. Ryder: That's back where we came from. Peebee: Been there, done that. Me:
