I must admit, it is the dogs - along with all of the other stagger-ellas - that are pushing me away from this game.

Like I said many times before....we were mislead to come to Andromeda.

Geth outer space station receive urgent request from the Angara in Andromeda for animal control. The Kett was supposed to do the job, hence you see the tamed version of dogs and fiends in their work force, but a labor dispute has forced the Kett to quit the job (Really, they can't take the minimum wage and no benefits anymore). So the Angara sent out a urgent distress call to whoever is in the galaxy.

Geth intercepted the signal first before anyone in the milky way know about it. The Geth negotiated a deal with the Angara to bring Milky way labor to Andromeda. The Geth just wanted to get rid of as much population and elites in the Milky way because they were working for the reapers. And also to send out sleeper agents in the Andromeda initiative under indoctrination influence to be scouts for the reaper force to come eventually.

No, we didn't come to Andromeda to explore and find a new home. This whole initiative thing is a hoax, the biggest scam in the Milky way. You are all here to work on animal control. With a hidden agenda from the Geth/Reaper sinister plot.

I found another good place to test this: on Nimbus, directly across from the LZ to your 'left', is a platform with some cover in the middle. From that platform you can go 'left' and up on a crate and then up to another level, or 'right' across a ramp back towards the LZ.

Behind you is open space; i.e. map boundary.

You can be standing on that platform fighting dudes to your left and right and... a dog will start biting you in the ass.

The dog MUST HAVE spawned behind you. It COULD NOT have come from in front of you because you have an unobstructed field of view.

Not through Recon Visor they don't.

Facepalming will hinder your optical perception.

I would guess that over 50% of the times I end up on my ass it is due to one of the dog species, especially for kits that relay on close quarters fighting with some risk.

I thought OP was being too critical... until I started soloing bronze for weapon challenge points. Literally every fifteen seconds I'm being assraped by one or several dogs.

The worst is when they give you 3-area control tasks for both objective waves. The dogs run at ridiculous speed and it's often impossible to kill them before they leap at you.

The older Mass Effect games had robo dogs, too. They would stun you with a similar attack, but they were slow & didn't exist in the multiplayer. I miss those days.
