ME:A Patch 1.10 is live

Slightly upset about the character veteran status needing all same rarity characters to have reached X first, as the RNG has been kind, and I have my primary (Human Kineticist) to XIX. Wanted to complete her to XX and move to opening weapon boxes. But it's all good still, only missing Krogan Gladiator X (1 card) and I'll be back to the Veteran cards again and hopefully a complete XX Kineticist tonight or tomorrow.

As others, I really wish this would apply to weapons, as I'd seriously like to get some higher ranked UR weapons; still missing the N7 Crusader entirely at the moment, but got my second Valkyrie Bulwark II already.

I had the Soned, Ushior, Inferno, Naladen, and PAW at X when 1.09 dropped.

Since then I've obtained the Piranha, Dhan, Rozerad, Valkyrie, Kishock, and Eagle X. Others are at VIII or IX, while most of them were around V pre-1.09. I've only got 10 variant UR drops so far...

Explosive weapons variants, [Falcon, *venom, scorpion,ect] All prime as vanilla in 4 shots, as well as provide seemingly correct healing with siphon and DR with bulwark.

*Venom primes in 4 normal shots, but can prime AND siphon an entire spawn in literally 1 charged shot depending on where micro explosions are. I need to get my game recorder working correctly. Shyt made me sad it took this long... gun still crappy charging mechanic though, would be nice if they tossed in bar like on kishock.*

Siphon L-89 Halberd also primes in 10 single shots from what I can tell with disruptor ammo. Looks like bioware, (although very late...) is turning on the music...

No, it primes in 4 shots period. The only targets I could test on were berserkers or greater, everything else dies in 2-3 shots with a Dhan X. Ima run a couple more games with cryo ammo. Some reason (although i'm sure some will say its not so) I don't think cryo is priming fast as the other 2 even on red health. Gimme about 15

So, the "get all characters to Rank 10 before unlocking veteran cards" patch is working as advertised. I had unlocked 45/60 veteran cards for pre-1.09 rare characters while the batarian only made it to Rank 5. Now I've only seen batarian cards today.

But then I also noticed that I haven't unlocked any augmented weapon cards today. I haven't tracked my packs on a spreadsheet, it's just something that I suddenly realized.

I've been able to get several rare weapons to Rank 10 over the last several hours, but none of their augmented varients have been unlocked afterward. Other varients that I already have unlocked have stopped showing up. Anyone else having a similar experience?

It's an Nvidia thing. Not related to the patch.

This is wrong. The official patch notes said that they changed card unlock rates. Now, if any character of a rarity tier is below Rank X you'll only get cards for that character. Once all characters of that rarity are Rank X will you be able to unlock veteran ranks.

But my experience suggests that weapons have also had their unlock rates altered in the same way. If this is true, then all weapons of a rarity must reach Rank X before the augmented varients will begin to unlock. This would greatly improve our ability to unlock new content.

My experience alone isn't enough, though. I'd like to know if everyone else is experiencing the same thing.

This... doesn't make sense. 100,000 credits spent now gives you a 0% chance at the new content. If you save it it could get you the new stuff or the old stuff with the same 100,000 credits.

Also if you think you're getting me back you're WRONG. I'm enjoying the heck out of Fortnite tbh. It's a fun game, you should try it. It's got F2P-itis though, but these days what fucking MP game doesn't?
