Somehow I get the feeling Alex Ryder would've really liked the synthesis ending. haha, yeah, i think he was already living the dream . "Living the dream" I hate the idea of having an AI implanted into my body to the extent SAM did. It just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

Sure Cora could have become Pathfinder, just like Avitus becomes the Turian Pathfinder. As for passing the torch to one of the twins it has to do with the conclusion of the task Ryder Family Secrets. SAM explains it at the end of that quest otherwise it would have been Cora. ah, not being a very good completionist i never bothered gathering all those secrets. So my runs have all kinds of gaps and holes which i just ignore.. till i don't . thank you for the enlightenment.. i now feel exalted . For me, the best part of Andromeda was the Ryder Family Secrets mission. It's a chore at first, but what's revealed in all of the memories from start to finish if mind blowing. You owe it to yourself to see and experience it for yourself.

You owe it to yourself to see and experience it for yourself. Definitely one of the best. If they do still take Andromeda forward.... tbh it wouldn't surprise me if the Reapers make a return. Assuming the Reapers became aware of the Initiative I can see them having both the capability and the will to despatch a portion of their forces to chase it down, which by the point of the end of ME3 may well have been outside the range of whatever colour explosion was set off at the end. I mean, what's 600 years for an immortal race of AI mecha-cthulus who treat 50,000 years as a decent nap?

I've been pretty hard on the dialogue and narrative, but the Ryder family secrets was a satisfying quest arc that got more interesting as it gradually unfolded. Good stuff.
