Instead of my usual low quality shitposting, here is some low quality goldsoloing. All "ez-mode objectives", i.e. boss/devices/retrieval. I don't have Sparkman's skill, and have failed every wave 6 upload or hack so far.

Backlash sucks because the enemies are too smart and do not shoot at you once you put it up. If they are already shooting at you at times they will keep shooting. Since the enemy has a sizeable numerical advantage their back lashers are very effective because they get in close, force you not to shoot then they start blasting with the shot gun or meleeing you as they dance around.

Also, thank you for having honor. I personally don't count gold solos when people use exploits like double ammo glitch back when game first launched.

That's a sadly frustrating truth. And sometimes it just fails on you for no discernible reason. That said, I still find backlash great for certain enemies, like annointed or observers, who are stupid enough to keep firing until they die. Or nullifiers and ascendants, reflecting their attacks is quite handy sometimes. All this is theoretical, in reality i forget about backlash until the end of each wave. Also, sometimes it's funny just watching a bunch of raiders suddenly stop firing and stand there aimlessly. |

Wave 3 hack was quite manageable with havoc and kineticist, but never had a chance to try wave 6 hack with either. I think you're right though. They could probably manage in the hands of someone more capable than me  |
