Seriously. There's a lot of them. I think the worst offender is "Medical Supplies" which you get at the very beginning and cant complete until Elaaden, so its sitting there for 70% of the time taking up space. Why? What's the point of that? Many quests last through several main quests, having multiple stages and you gotta keep waiting as it goes "on hold". Which I hate. A lot. A lot a lot. If I start a quest, I don't want to put it "on hold" I want to finish it. Often throughout the game my entire "Allies and Relationships" folder is a long list of "on hold" missions which bugs the ever-living (mission) goo out of me. (kudos if you get the invader zim "mission goo" reference )

I still have those annoying tasks that don't have quest markers on them.

I agree, it really is highly annoying. One or two quests that are "on hold" that maybe hint at things to come are alright and serve a purpose in building up excitement, but when my entire quest log is nothing but on hold that's just poor game pacing. Like The Firefighters: what's the point of starting the quest ages before we discover Kadara? Just start it later. By the time I get to the bad guys' hideout I've already forgotten what the quest is about and what the stakes are.
If it were up to me I would have kept most sidequests and fetch quests as post-endgame content for people who want to do that extra stuff (like me). That way you aren't distracted from the critical path by a bunch of minor quests and there's no reason to put anything on hold.

So was Hitting Rocks for Science.
Myself, I didn't mind them too much. The thought that some quests are less a reactive event was kinda nice. I would have liked to see Medical Supplies stretching over both Kadara and Elaaden, though, since there's Exiles and Outlaws on both.

Mine was Overgrown, simply because you get it just at the point when you're finishing up with Havarl and are about to move onto a new world.
I'd +1 the rocks one, too.
I'm coming to the end of my second (completionist) playthrough (I have learned that I never get bored of Throw/Pull/Charge, 200 hours now) and I think when and if I do a third, I'll probably focus on maxing planets one at a time next time.

I'm mostly just bummed about the ones, "tasks" I think they are called, that you get on a certain planet, but after you leave and do a few other planets there's no real way to tell which planet they were from and there's no quest markers.
I could look them up on line, but that's no fun, either. So they just go undone.

I never able to complete these two, it's anoyng walk all map like the snake game of the secound generation of cel phones like Nokia 1221.
I'll still find out if "Earn your badges" are still bugy.

No proper markers, nor proper descriptions, not even a planet mentioned. If I ever complete them it's by sheer dumb luck. I get that they're there to encourage exploring, but a little more information wouldn't go amiss.

Found some random ones on Voeld. I was able to figure it out without going online. I don't mind them because they encourage exploration. I actually like the ones you have to find on your own.

Was earn your badge only buggy with SisRyder? Cause I had that issue but some people playing bro didn't. I assume one of the patches took care of it. I didn't take it up again after I couldn't complete it. I hate things sitting in my quest list that can't be completed.

Completely agree. Especially because if you let the quest a long time "on hold" you just forget about it. When I received quest updates after a long time, I was like "Uh... who gave me this quest again? What's the story behind it?"
Well, just another thing that sucks on this game.

Are you talking about the 'killing the Destroyer too fast' thing? That's still there, at least in v1.09. As for random quests - tbh, one of the more interesting quests was the discovery a full Collective Base in a cave on Kadara. I'd only went there to find that salarian surveyor and just happened to find a door... then all that happened.

No the quest wouldn't complete properly for Sara Ryder. For some they could talk to tgecquest giver and complete the quest but it still remained incomplete in the journal. For me the quest giver was gone, but that was due to the patch borking the quest worse since I was in the middle of it.

Any randomized location quests stay in the quest log. I'm very gradually clearing them, but only one at a time before quitting. I love the game, but randomized quests suck arse.

RNG based tasks without markers. That's one of the most annoying things ever. Almost as annoying as driving around in the MAKO on every planet on ME1 to manually go to the surface, look for resources (that you cant even use).

Around 15 hours from finishing up playthrough 4, I've got a pretty good idea where most stuff is. So only 2 tasks to polish off. I've found the trick with the random tasks is that when Sam or crew call out a nearby enemy you're driving by, that's usually a clue. That leaves less dull driving around if you decide to tackle each of those quests independently. The other ones to watch are the Remnant cores which can get trapped in Vaults.
