My speculation just went SuperNova. The Quarians are Saved?

I would like to take that as a positive thing, but life always seems to have a way of beating me back into pessimistic submission every time I dare to take an optimistic approach to anything.

In all honesty, it stands to reason that at the moment of launch back in March, the first DLC was already lined up to be polished and released. But because of all the "oh muh feelings" reactions to the game, Montreal is done, ME sent to Edmonton and put on low maintenance since they got bigger fish to fry. Either way, the DLC was probably close to finished by the time they decided to cut Montreal studio. So it would be kinda stupid to not work on it and cash in. Resources and money were spent already, you can trust EA to make a profit off it.

The fact that its in Edmonton now gives hope that they will polish it to perfection to get the ME saga trending again. But I wouldnt bet on any date. Could be in a couple months, could be next year, who knows.

The truth is, whoever said Mass Effect was done for after Andromeda, didnt know what they were talking about. There's still a lot of money to be made out of this franchise, we just need to be patient and you can be sure we will be getting more content.

The only way a really late DLC (say early next year for example) makes sense IMO would be if it were one big expansion pack to finish the game. Not sure if they still do something like that, but I definitely would like it.
