POLL: Platform Used to Take the N7 Day Game Footage

PC, but I am biased.

PC. I'm fairly sure it's standard practice to pull pretty much all pre-release gameplay from PCs, unless you've specifically partnered with a console manufacturer to show off some nifty new feature on their hardware at an event.

I was thinking that EA/Bio would want to avoid ruffling some feathers and go with Microsoft XB1, this time around. On the other hand,
if the game footage is from the Pro, I'd download the highest resolution video to play on my 2k monitor.

Yeah... I read about the PS4 Pro upscaling to near 4k resolution.  Deceptive marketing you think?

Well for me 1080p is ok. I'm not planning to upgrade my PS4 till the next generation of PS comes up. This will also make 4K TVs cheaper. I really don't care too much about 4K at this point. I would have preferred a console that would provide me with stable 60 fps. Oh well.

PC or riot.

PS4 Pro, only because I fear that there is some exclusive content for PS4; beyond a mere convenient marketing opportunity. I mean, it was done with Xbox One with Jaws Of Hakkon and that EA Access thing. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was done for PS4.

I don't see a difference between 30 fps or 60 fps, or the difference between 720 or 1080 dpi or 4K. I would wager most players can't tell the difference between any game on any version of Xbox One, PS4, and an average PC unless they work in animation and/or they're an animation nut, or they're a tech/graphic nut.   

Id depends. 30FPS on consoles =/= 30FPS on PC. From my limited experience with consoles I'd guess that 30FPS there feels like at least 50 on PC. Also, on PC, difference between 30 and 60 for me is one hell of an headache. Literally. Resolution is similar. In some games there's little difference. In others first look and you know if it's in 4k or not. Also on 24" 4k monitors, where people use zoo in Windows just to see icons/read text properly, you probably won't find much difference. Again, from personal experience, Borderland TPS, Diablo 3, WoW and others, just one look at menu/character selection and I was able to see difference between 1080p, 1440p or 2160p (50" screen).

But, if you're not like me (finding creative ways to spend money), 1080p as a resolution is fine, there's nothing wrong with it. Don't let elitist pricks like me tell you otherwise.

I was thinking the same but if you get used to play 60fps game like MGS5 then you do notice the difference. I'm not an expert on these tech things but I found gaming at 60 fps to be smoother and the fluidity of movements are so much better IMO.

I think you realize the difference not by doing an immediate comparison between standards but by consistently playing the higher standard and then trying back to the lower one. Then you realize the difference between them even if they looked like minor things at a first glance.
