POLL: Platform Used to Take the N7 Day Game Footage

I'm not sure that just because MEA did the Ps4 Pro tech demo it means they are aligning themselves more with that platform over the others. It's much more likely that Sony went to them and asked because of the obvious marketing benefit for both parties.

I'm not certain when game developers begin "porting" their games to specific platforms but seeing as N7 day is at best 4-5 months away from MEA's release date I'd say all the footage will be taken from a PC.

PS4 Pro, definitely. Look, you've got these people in there that are such console users that it's not even funny. I think that they are so used to mouses, that they don't wanna feel one at the end of the day. That's my own personal opinion. They may say it "feels" better, but IMO, it really doesn't, and that's all this comes down to. Opinion on what platform you wanna play this on. They are eating up the PC users. Face it, it's the wave of the future. They'll release a broken game on PC and a perfect game on console.

It doesn't bother me much, except if I'm caught in the middle of the bugs. (and by bugs, I mean if it crashes on my system, or crashes my system) I don't really mind if it's slow on my system (low FPS or low HDR or whatever your god forbidden tech is these days).

I'm a few weeks late to this thread. Reading over it, I was surprised to see some say that they could tell little difference between 1080p and 4K. To be clear, I play on PS4 with a 5 or 6 year old Sony Bravia TV. While it was pretty impressive when new, it's now easily outclassed by most newer TVs.

That out of the way, looking at a properly connected 4K setup alongside a 1080p setup is nearly night and day, assuming the 4K TV isn't a garbage unit. The difference will definitely be less noticeable for people playing on tiny monitors, but I didn't really think that description fit most of the community anyway. (I've always assumed that anyone who could afford a quality gaming rig would budget into that setup high quality A/V components.)

I'm not sure on which console I will buy this game. It will likely be the PS4, since that's what I currently own, and the PS4 Pro isn't a substantial enough upgrade to justify purchasing an additional console. My existing PS4 will upscale after firmware updates. If I eventually jump into the Xbox mix in this generation, it will likely be with the Scorpio. We'll see what it proves to be, and whether the games available are worth it, MEA included. (I don't like purchasing games I already own for another platform.)

However I eventually make the jump, I look forward to 4K gaming. The visuals may not be the most important part of the game, but they sure as hell add a lot to a well developed world. Nothing brings a world to life like seeing it, and you see it in amazing detail in 4K.
