It's all just padding to compensate for the lack of original content due to the reshuffle and it's clear and brazen as day. It's not broken it's literally the minimum amount of work they could get away with to keep people grinding away for another year or two without having to do anything.
If they wanted to 'fix it' retroactively they could simply remove all this bloat immediately, introduce Syphon, Bulwark and Concussive weapon mods for each weapon type and tier and compensate players accordingly by working out how much credits they spent on this worthless bloat and give it back to us as 'store credit'.
If I was interested in 'fixing' this shit in addition to buying packs I'd also think it would be reasonable to let players gain expert ranks for UR cards for levelling-up/resetting level 20s as you suggest to compensate for the outrageous imbalance they introduced in 1.09 which has ruined the UR cards by turning them into the worse / least desirable/practical cards in the game for platinum for the foreseeable future.
It's taken me literally 5 months and a lot of dedication to reach rank X with most of my UR cards and now they are crippled comparably speaking even on Gold and it's going to take me another 5 months before they are on par with basic common XXs you can max in a matter of hours, or rare expert ranks I maxed during the first platinum weekend which is nuts.

There are a lot of easy fixes - give us more ways to unlock things. Simple.

No, but MF are very slow and arduous. Give us more MF, more things to do with them (e.g. buy specific items), and so on.

Hard to believe Cheat Engine hasn't solved this yet.
If I ever pirate this game, it will be because I can max my manifest in an hour and vault to the top of the leaderboards.
When you see that happen, all cry in joy or dismay, matters not to me. I will be King of the World.

I can help with info on speeding up credits earned, but AFAIK there's still no way to get MF faster. There's a chance that the Apex app may supply an attack vector via altered store prices, but I'm still wading my way through the code. It's slow going though, I'm not much of a programmer, my relevant skills haven't had practice in years.

Play another game that has RNG problems and some item/character bloat issues. They made a change last year to allow people to favorite characters at higher rarity tiers and if you draw a character from the tier you have a 20% chance to get your favorite as a bonus. They could also just have had a higher percent chance of drawing your favorite. There are still issues, but it is nice feeling you have some "control" over the RNG and adds more progress on rosters and weapons. Here you could favorite one rare and ultra rare weapon and one rare and ultra rare character. Skip the commons and uncommons. Perhaps add in mods and consumables at higher tiers?
First post. Just a thought.

With Mission funds. mission fund items are far too expensive to be a viable alternative to unlocking things via credits, and that's before getting into the fact that there's a cap on how many you can earn per day

I usually go on the "special spiral of the idiot ranting" trip when I see almost anything that hints at a "turning back" of the decisions bioware has made. Today though, I'm going to actually ask a couple questions.. 1. Who will, and how does anyway removing the (manifest bloat) "fix" any issue that players are experiencing? From what I can tell, the only players who feel there is a manifest bloat at all, are either players who don't play on a difficulty where they would be reaching manifest goals anyway, or players who don't read patchnotes and realize that what they call manifest bloat, exist any longer. 2. How will fixing the mess of manifest bloat be beneficial to players who, even after the release of 1.10, have a completed manifest. We are still talking time and effort spent by these players. In order for there to be anything beneficial to these players, they would either have to be returned spent funds (not going to happen) or be a fix that makes the ideas people are tossing out work for everyone. Any reduction of I-XX anything for these players is simply a slap in the face saying their efforts don't mean anything. I can't see myself continuing to play if one of my I-XX weapons or characters were suddenly turned back. What about those players who spent real money to max those manifest? You realize the shytstorm that would bring about? 3. What are biowares motives, or rather what motives do you believe as a player bioware has? As far as I can tell, this is all about $$$ and anything and everything bioware does in MP will be a means to reach people spending money on microtransactions. I see a lot of people talking turnbacks and removals, but in what way is this beneficial to bioware, rather than to a player? Well said sir. Bioware does not give a dam about how fast or fair you think it is to acquire items. No one on earth would design a loot system like this if their goal is to make the game fun for the players. It is very clear Bioware is doing this on profit solely.

I think Bioware would make more money on the game if more people played it and felt like they could get the guns and characters they wanted to play. If you have no hope, or don't play, you won't buy Andrkmeda points.
