This still fucking happens? Jesus Christ. I remember having to restart a checkpoint because the Ascendant on Voeld spawned inside one of the pillars and I couldn't complete the mission, and this was two or three days after the game came out.

Kino's shockwave remedy is the best workaround solution, but BioWare needs to fix that. It happened just once in my entire trilogy playthrough this past summer (we're still in it... God help me) and it was a varren that spawned in wrong. I'm pretty sure Jack's or Jacob's biotics caused that. However, Andromeda... every playthrough (three, but less each time... a lot less!) and it continues to happen.

It happened to me, only a couple of times, but only on H-047c near a doorway. What I did is reload. I don't recall ever having that problem when playing the trilogy.

Only happened once for me on pc and that was me bioticaly pushing someone into the floor. Maybe it's more of a console thing, or I've been lucky. It may very well be just PS4. I don't have the new rig yet. I decided to slum it on the 4K monitor I bought and get the 1080ti. I figure in about two years, AMD will catch up and help drive the cost of the Volta down to acceptable levels (under $300) and see if more than 32GB 2400 RAM is necessary. I'm guessing no and thanking my earlier self for listening to the forums. Most of my pen-and-paper anti-BioWare friends own PCs. They're PC elitists like me. They're all bragging on 1.09. That was when I knew it was ready before I get the damn rig together. On 35" Asus monitor running at 2K on Ultra (1060) it ran above 60fps and looked breathtaking. I mean... stop what you're doing and look at the screen... in and out of combat. This podunk shop here has a 35" on 4K on Ultra (1080ti) it barely keeps above 50fps, but it still looks badass. If anything, I almost bought his display rig right then and there. I'm tired being without the good stuff. Inquisition runs like a tired old man on this Unreal rig. After tasting Frostbite on 4k, I'm going to uninstall Inquisition off this rig and promise never to bring it up again. It has served well and will continue to serve well in the living room as a cable box capable of playing anything older than Frostbite.

However, Andromeda... every playthrough (three, but less each time... a lot less!) and it continues to happen. Honestly, I've only had it happen twice on PC. Both times it was on Eos and they spawned either in the wall or under the floor. Either way, I got 'em with Shockwave.

It happens, sometimes during combat and again... shockwave is the workaround remedy. I hate it, because I'm not a primary biotic and it throws off my immersion, but I deal with it because that's just a stutter in a long journey. Not bad... and you're right... some of the group mentioned it's pretty smooth as it gets. They're looking forward to DLC with a whole lot of salty skepticism. Me... a small victory here and there can lead to bigger wins down the road.

I miss that bug from 2 and 3 where your vanguard butt would occasionally just float off into space slowly.
Also, rock armor joke.

An game engine with dyslexia. Should not any power that pulls or pushes the enemy work in this state though? Not guaranteed. I should point out a lot of games have this issue. Especially open world where it isn't a static environment. It's just a random glitch in the code. Usually reloading and reentering the area should fix it.

Dosen't just happen to Vanguards though it can happen to any class as it happened to me earlier during Zaeed's loyalty mission. Needed to reload because of it too.

Especially open world where it isn't a static environment. It's just a random glitch in the code. Usually reloading and reentering the area should fix it. Yeah. I guess that can be. Just had an issue on EOS at site 2 where a machine gunner Kett was inside walls of the facility where you get the research material. So I walk to the material and get mowed down. Took me a bit before I figured out there was no killing it: combat, tech, biotics - nothing would kill it. It also seemed to be invisible. Took me a bit to realize to reload the whole scenario before I got to site 2 the first time -problem solved.
