If writers wanted griffons to return and wanted flight/sky combat how far away is the tech to pull this off?. Reading last flight and wondering if its even possible with the xbox1/ps4 hardware Well I mean sure, flight combat simulators have been employed in worse than the current gen without issues ... so theoretically it shouldn't be an problem. The Question I have is what form this sort of combat will take? This is a similar question I have for those who wish for a DA:BlackFlag style game taking place in Antiva and Rivaine, and the corresponding ship vs ship battles that presumably come with it? What form will these battles take? These are RPG's after all, they do require a certain combat architecture to be recognizable as such and not just be yet another 3rd person action game like Assassin's Creed or SoM. Also pretty sure Griffons are a long way off. Assuming we even got the best possible gender combination for breeding from the Last Flight eggs, unless Griffons are the fastest reproducers in existence and all the Warden's caring for them were doing is forcing them to breed (inbreed), it might be quite a while before we have a viable enough population for them to be able to spare some for general use or combat purposes.
