Yes, comparing online activity in Dark Souls 1 & 3 feels like there are more console players then on pc.

NOW I'm interested to hear the ME3MP active player count There probably way lower, but Andromeda because its still some what new probably has a ton of people still playing the absurdly long single player campaign.(I was 2 bugged uncompletable side quests from 100% completion and it took I want to say 84 hours, I could 100% the original trilogy in that time and still have 10+ hours to spare) I wouldn't be surprised however if ME3's MP had more people currently playing than Andromeda, I almost exclusively play Gold and it takes lobbies sometimes what feels like 5 minutes before 1 or 2 people join. |

On PS4 looking at the apex rankings of my friends list, the guys who barely touched the game are stting in the 700ks whereas my sis who has played less than 35 hours and not logged in in months is in the 19ks so it's safe to assume less than 20k people are still playing on PS4 which is shocking.
So it's safe to assume the drip feeding, content-stretching, reskin store bloat approach has seemingly not worked and may have actively contributed to the bleeding of player numbers since release. ME3MPs big content drop DLC approach seems to have been much more successful.
