I've only ever used the old version of ME3explorer to install ME3 mods. Now it's a new version and I'm lost. When it starts up it doesn't even look like the tutorial. If anyone knows where I can get the old version or knows of an easier tutorial relevant to simply installing a mod can you please  please let me know. Thanks. |

Also confused. Wanted to use a few mods like Kaidan's beard but baffled with how to use it. Since it would be two mods max I don't want to take the time to read through everything.

just wanting N7 t-shirt; shepard hair; beardy Kaidan; fluffy Kaidan and Kaidan photo. I tried simply adding the .tpf files for the Kaidan mods through Texmod and it didn't work. If you can help myself and DMC1001 it would make us both very happy.

Especially these two sites: ME3Explorer v3.0: An OverviewGetting StartedBut IIRC, after pointing ME3Explorerer to the right directory, you still just use TPFtools to install textures. IF you already have texture mods installed, you likely need to import the Texplorer tree first, otherwise this tree needs to be created first. |

Tbh, I'm really not that good at texture mods, but if they are dlc mod files its pretty simple. You put the folder into ME3's dlc folder, then use autoTOC. There should be install instructions with the mods.

Not sure how ME3 explorer work with version 3.0, but with old version I used TPF tool to permanently apply mods since i use a lot of mods (hd texture mostly) so I don't wait ME3 explorer to load every textures mod everytime I want to play. You just need to build the tree the first time, this is a long process but you only need to do it once. Then apply the texture you want and never have to do this again ^^

Sadly, it means I'll probably never have bearded Kaidan or hairy chested Shepard. |
