Mass Effect 2 Collector Armour and Weapon unlocked for some reason?

So I don't know if this ends up being a PSA but I deleted then reinstalled my Mass Effect 2 game to make such all my files were unmodded since I wanted to do a playthrough of the series again but I forgot to save my DLCs like the Blood Dragon Armour (Oops), so on the off chance it still worked I went to the old BSN site on my profile, checked entitlements and for some odd reason I had the Collector Armour and Weapon unlocked for PC and 360. I've never had the collector's edition of ME2 or used the code for it so I have no idea why I had it, but I downloaded and installed the DLC and it worked, so now I have those items in my game.
