I'm considering buying ME3 again just for the MP. I heard the PC community is still pretty active as well. I was having a discussion with my friend about how tactical you have to be with your character and not put yourself in a corner.

I played and died on Wave 1 and was like... I played and died on wave 1 on *silver*. The shame! But honestly, you just need a few games to get back into shape, I mostly have good gold games now. ME: Boredromeda is getting too much for me so I now prefer to run a few matches of ME3 whenever I have some time. It's surprisingly pleasant to come back to all the different characters and powers there. I honestly don't know what to play cause I want to play everything at once! I'm considering buying ME3 again just for the MP. I heard the PC community is still pretty active as well. I was having a discussion with my friend about how tactical you have to be with your character and not put yourself in a corner. It's pretty active indeed. In "prime" gaming hours, I am finding gold lobbies faster than in MEA ha ha ha ha Come to the PC mustard trace, we'll curry you to victory!

When I do find a MEA Gold lobby, there's a good chance that it'll be a lag filled game. I'll see you all in the Milky Way!

First game of ME3MP after a long time and MEAMP can be a bitch. But if you were a solid player before you'll get back into it in no time (in this case 1 or 2 games probably). It's kinda like riding a bicycle...

Avoid off-host vanguards though. That's the one thing that's better in mea.

First game of ME3MP after a long time and MEAMP can be a bitch. But if you were a solid player before you'll get back into it in no time (in this case 1 or 2 games probably). It's kinda like riding a bicycle... Can confirm. First game back was a Gold duo on Condor/Collector. It was very difficult getting used to all the buttons doing different things, not having a left/right hand weapon swap. Powers are on the same cooldown. Cover not activating automatically (which I think is better than automatic) also having the Ops pack & Thermal Clip pack swapping places as well. However, the enemies are significantly easier to predict and can be funneled and taken care of much easier. Everything has a much slower pace in ME3MP, but has things like reload canceling, weapon swap canceling and dodging actually works. The actions to do things are much more responsive and quick whereas in MEA it's the opposite. The actions to do things like swap weapons/use a power doesn't always respond at times and everything is a little bit glitchy, reload canceling is gone, you can't run with a charge weapon, no weapon swap canceling either. It's like MEA was trying to be a faster paced game with the shorter waves and fancy jet packs, but failed to deliver on the player response to in-game actions. Also, if a teammate went down in ME3 you'd know. If you're reviving them you'd know. and if you're interacting with a device you'd know. It isn't always clear in MEA. am I ranting? I think I'm ranting.

ME3MP after MEAMP feels so sluggish Nope. I dont know why, but the characters in Andromeda seem to move around with glue on their feet. ME3 isn't like that at all. (Except Juggy with AM3).

For me its like they all have heavy armor on, and are on xanax after MEAMP =) Also I have massive problems with stucking into geometry and still running...

Can confirm, PC seems more active than PS3, though with the caveat that both of them basically die for several hours every day when basically nobody is around. Too lazy to convert to other people time, but it's during the middle of the day Eurotime. Guess the Europeans are at work and the Muricans are sleeping or something?
Outside of that, PC seems to have more lobbies, and more varied playerbase.

Avoid off-host vanguards though. That's the one thing that's better in mea. To be honest I often don't have a problem with that as often as in the beginning. Unless the host is sitting at the other end of the globe or runs the game on a potato. I can still notice the difference between hosting myself or playing the Drellguard off-host but I remember the problem to be much worse in the early days/weeks/months of ME3MP.

That's true, but ME3 for me was a good game too...it felt a bit rushed in the way the game made you gain resources/galactic readiness...etc...but i thought the story was strong enough and it did a good job of transitioning characters from the ME2 suicide mission....those Mordin and Legion scenes along with Samarah's small tale was some of the most heart-wrenching the series has seen....

Noaoup. Never touched ME1 or ME2, either. I'm solely a ME3-group-fun kind-of-a-girl. I can recommend playing ME2 (and all DLC) at some point - one of the best SP games of all times in my opinion, played it many many times accumulating hundreds of hours (so that you might actually think this was a MP game )

I wouldn't say that, it introduced us to a great sci-fi universe and a good story. However, it aged terribly, especially in the combat department.
