Question about the respec bug that removes skill points

Wasn't this fixed?

When I work up the courage I am going to re-set a few of my sub-X URs to see what happens. I want to do it on my console though (not in the app) so I can record the process in case the glitch persists.

And if you show it to EA cust serv, they will send you back here before eventually awarding you an advanced pack for your troubles.  

Shame there isn't a glitch that gives you like 30 extra skill points like in ME3, still to this day if I jump on there I have like 4 guys that have every tree maxed out with like 12 spare points. Don't remember what caused it but it happened.

I have never experienced the glitch myself, but there were reports that if you respec a character at < Rank X (or maybe also < level 20, not sure) you don't get refunded all your skill points.

The reason I have never experience this glitch is that I have only ever respec'd Rank X, Level 20 characters. Yes, this means I have been sitting on some truly horrible UR character builds because they are < Rank X.

Fernando said in the Twitch stream he thinks the glitch was fixed, so I'm going to find out. Probably not 'til tomorrow as I am busy today (too busy to play, apparently not too busy to post, heh).

You can avoid the glitch by respecing in the app.

The bug appears to be fixed! I re-spec'd two sub-Rank X UR characters (and examined a third that was already re-set) and received the correct number of skill ranks.

A Rank X character has 23 more skill points than a Rank I.
At every odd rank, you receive more customization options.
At even ranks, you receive 4, 4, 5, 5, 5 skill points at Ranks II, IV, VI, VIII, and X respectively.

True. We can only state that the we have not been able to disprove that the bug does not exist, not that the bug definitely does not exist. If that made any sense.

Fernando was under the impression the bug has been fixed for a while, yes.

I can't say anything about characters still messed up from earlier respecs because as noted, I have been too scared to respec any sub-X characters (until now).
